Not sure now (Toyota changes their thing regularly) but when I bought my 2020 here in Canada, there was no limited that year and they had TRD Sport/Off-Road trims and offered the "Premium" version of it. So mine is the 2020 SR5 TRD Off-Road Premium. Again, in Canada they didn't offer the Limited that year. At least not here in Ontario.

went by my local dealership and they had more Tacoma’s than I have seen in a while. Noting like it used to be, but it’s getting better.

Front tow hooks yes, but I appreciate the guy showing stock mud capability with Crawl Control and rear locker. I would have banged into it faster with no fear of rocks. In his situation a lift and better tires would have been helpful along with momentum.
Haha, yeah maybe. Yeah, looked like he was trying to get stuck. I appreciate that, now we know how far a stock Michelin LTX TRD Offroad can go in mud with Crawl Control and rear locker engaged.
Dude put a stock '22 to the breaking point in Louisiana mud, used 4LO, Crawl Control, MTS, rear locker. We'll see more tests but we know some more thngs now.

In Canada, our choices are very restrictive, there are many features we cannot get.

Today, I was curious about what grades and options dealers are designated/In Transit to receive. Some of the Ohio, Tennessee, and Atlanta dealer websites could view the window stickers. What stood out to me is no TRD packages other than TRD Sport. The majority of the Limited trucks had the load-leveling and the JBL Sound System options.
Hoping the dealers can make adjustments for future builds. I told my dealer that I'm willing to wait 6 months or longer with the amount of money I am spending, plus its been 13 years since I have purchased a truck.

I noticed Beaman in Nashville included the window sticker in each listing on their website. I badly wish every dealership would do that and save customers a lot of time.

My bare minimum is now SR5 TRD Sport Premium with the TRD Convenience packages. Once one comes along in grey or black I'll get it.

In this instance crawl control was used completely wrong and probably caused him to get stuck. 4wd and hammer down and then we'll see what the limits of the truck are. Not idling into a mud hole until you get stuck and then making a weak attempt to get out. That truck was no where near its limit.

If I had to I would go in fast in 4LO and hope I could skate the underbelly through the pit.

But I do appreciate the guy showing you can't do deep mud stock, and showing the rescue point is only the rear tow receiver.

He did, and he had no clue what Crawl Control. MTS and a rear locker can and cannot do and when to or how to use any of it....which is probably going to be par for the course it seems.

I can't wait to see all the carnage that will ensue with all the new Crawl Control, MTS and Rear locker owners....lol. Toyota should make you pass a test before purchasing a model with any of those features to cut down on warranty claims.

Just a note....he had no business in 4 low in the situation he got himself in...thats just one little tidbit from that bit of clickbait

Is there any way to confirm this? The blue light with the 1794 interior looks ridiculous.

Until there's a good review of a Plat/1794, probably not. I do agree that it looks hideous, so much so that surely it can be changed or turned off in settings. That's how almost every other ambient lighting system works.

Kinda bummed that ambiant lighting isn’t offered in TRD Pro. I know plenty of people are going to go off about what should and shouldn’t be in a “kinda off-roady” tundra but I appreciate bells and whistles…

HUD is a bigger miss to me, but it is important to note that TRD Pro has never really been classified as a top trim both in Gen 2/2.5 and 3. It's essentially a Limited Off-Road with some cosmetic changes, better shocks, and fancy badging.

HUD should be a stand alone option, as should the rear air system instead of bundling it into advanced package. A platinum with HUD and rear air would be ideal, even better with TRD off-road package and in lunar rock

i think a couple pages back someone made a comment comparing the new Tundra to the Raptor i think it was from the tfl drag race video where the Tundra sneaked out the win over the Ford Raptor. And then someone mentioned that it was more comparable to the Tremor package. However, when I do a compare build the Tremor comes in around $67,000 , I really do not see how that can compare when the Tundra Limited is around $61,000 …. Toyota is offering more bang for the buck !!

Trd Pro is comparable to the Tremor. We were talking off road truck trims. To note, the Raptor is on 37s and barely lost (inches).

Raptor and Raptor R are in another class above anything Toyota is currently doing.

The Tundra squeaked a win but you have to keep in mind the Raptor was rocking 37" tires.

Watched a video from that not so smart guy who got his tundra stuck in the mud. He was driving down the highway, had 400 miles on the truck and was getting 21.6 mpg on his tank. For all those “ this truck gets the same mileage as my 2nd gen” guys. Obviously one persons fuel mileage should always be taken with a grain of salt.

It doesn't, but I've gotten anywhere from 17.5-18.5MPG driving down the interstate, going 70mph or so. As nice as that is, 3MPG isn't enough of a savings (on its own, anyways) to justify a new truck.

(Especially when mine has that SWEET, sweet Voodoo Blue color. :D )
