The attached document is a Full Product Specification Sheet for the 2022 Tundra...all trim levels.

I found this today as I have been checking daily for this information from Toyota. Since the reveal I have been waiting many specifications that were not posted...especially since I have my eye on a double cab. Now that I know how much space on the inside has been lost because Toyota decided to change the angle of the rear cab area.... I am not so sure about the Double Cab now.

Hopefully this is useful information to you all.

    Function before sparkle.
Pro doesn’t have optional trailer tow mirrors or backup assist. I didn’t notice that before.

Oh wow. 157” is a good size truck, my last truck was a super duty at 160” and that was a monster. I wonder how it looks in person with the long bed. Thanks for posting the spec sheet.

There are several things I LIKE about the 2022 Tundra ...
    MPG 18/23/20 for 4x2
    Rear Differential Ratio 3.31
Payload for 4x2 Double Cab is 1860-1940
Max Payload is 200 to 250 pounds more
    Overall width +.3"

DISLIKEs about the 2022 Specifications compared to the 2021 Tundra...
Legroom is almost 1.5" less front and rear for the 2022
    Turning circle is 4ft more
Overall length is +5" more but yet the interior room is smaller
    Bed Depth is 1.3" less
Inside Bed width from wheel wells is 1.3" less (50" old, 48.7" new)
Total bed width is 7.7" less (66.4" old, 58.7" new) WOW!!!!
Fuel tank is 22.5 and optional 32.2 (Old was 26.4 and 38)

This market and prices are here to stay for at least 18-24 months.

has absolutely nothing about the so callled "chip" shortage.

I am not an all out expert on the exact packages, but if I wanted a 1794/Platinum with all options it looks like I could get to the $70k mark.

The one posted for MSRP of $66k still looks like it is missing some factory options.

Yep, and at $70k they will sell as many as they can build.

I just built an F-150 Lariat and made it equivalent to a Limited or maybe a 1794 and it was $68k with not all options selected.......

I was at the dealer today getting an oil changed and we chatted 22’s. He showed me a build sheet for a limited- no Msrp, but the pano sunroof was $1,500 and there was another $600 package on it, believe it was the trd off road. Interesting…. Dealership is convinced that the pricing won’t change much form current pricing at all. They have 26 people on the waiting list for platinums

Just looked at Toyota.com website. 2021 Tacoma vs 2022 Tacoma starting price. 2022 is up a whooping $100. I know apples/oranges but doesn't look like all the shortages are to blame. Toyota is real proud of the new Tundra

Using this video I was able to work up a cost for the truck I want.

Doing quick math for what I want.

    22 sr5 crew max 5.5ft
    TRD sport
    Advanced tech
    Premium. Audio
    Heated steering wheel
    Bed step
    Trailering mirrors
air suspension (haven't seen a cost)

    Probably $58k. Yikes

Welp. $59,525 for what I want in my Tundra. Guess I’m definitely not getting the TRD Pro.

I love it! Count me in. I’m in Memphis and actually travel to Knox for work occasionally.

Wanna set the Over/Under at 70k and I’ll take the under?

Actually if you are smart when putting packages together, they can be cheaper than 1/2 tons. 1/2 tons are where all the money is. Take this 6.6 gas 2500 HD. Start with an LT and build it up. It will be leather, heated steeeing wheel, heated leather seats, trailering camera system, LED light in bed, 110v outlet in cab and bed, and many other options. I own an LT like similar to what is in this build and it is on par and has as much features as a Toyota Platinum. This truck maxes out at $56k. With incentives and right before all the craziness, I got this similar truck for $48k.

Oh for sure...I am aware, I have built several Ford/Chevy/Rams on the builders and if your careful with all the fluff, you can build some quite capable trucks for under or right at 50K. A few years ago when I needed the extra capability, I had a Ram 2500 Big Horn and I picked it up new for not too much more than my Tacoma.

Even thigh i had a feeling pricing would be close to this I’m still a bit surprised, I don’t think the mpg saving is worth the big jump in price, maybe the hybrid can offer a better return based on the extra cost. I still think comparing the Toyota with the big 3, it might still be cheaper to go with a Toyota, once the big 3 offer incentives that might change things. It seems like the prices of the options has gone up a decent amount also, not just the base prices. If someone can find a 21 tundra sr5 or limited for around 50k I say jump on it, with these prices and dealer market adjustments it won’t be pretty for a long time. At least the value of my truck just shot up.

The packages and options have for sure went up also. Plus there are a good bit more packages and options available to add compared to previous gens.

They are still cheaper and depending on reliability, a better value than the domestics.

I agree that the value of the tundra and packages offer a better value than the big 3, however the only reason people purchased the tundras all these years was for reliability and resale value, it definitely was not for the tech and options compared to the big 3. Since this is a new vehicle we don’t know either of those things and how they might play a factor down the road. I obviously have not driven a new tundra yet but I recently watched a video comparing a loaded hybrid f150 vs hybrid tundra. I remember the person pretty much saying at the end that the tundra was not ready to go against the best ford/Chevy/ram offered. I think it’s important to mention that people now have a reason to shop around when looking at the tundra based on the new pricing. For me I would not take a new tundra if I can buy a loaded Chevy with the 6.2 or lariat f150 with the 5.0/3.5tt for the same price, people can no longer make the argument the tundra is more reliable, at least not for the next 5-6 years.

Don’t remember where it was but there was a video posted yesterday that was a quick rundown of a limited TRD OR. Like a minute or so long review. Looks like that model would check my boxes after adding some new coil overs, wheels (if OEMs are 20”) and tires. Moonroof , heated/vented seats, LEDs, decent looking leather in a color other than suffocating hotbox black -to name a few.

I’ll wait it out for supply to return to normal to be able to negotiate. Look of the truck is growing on me in the right color.

Based on the information in the YouTube Video that looks extremely accurate. The Truck I put a deposit on -

    1794 Trim 4x4 package 60,690
    Delivery 1,695
    TRD Off-Road package 3,085
    1794 Pwr/Fld BSM +PVM/MTM Mirror Chrom. 640
    Ball Mount/Trailer Ball. 119
    Phone Cable/Chrg Pack 73
    Clear Paint Protection 199
    Toyoguard Platinum. 699

    67,200 - Total.
    No Technology Package
No Running boards of any kind
    No air suspension
    No Tow Hooks

Lets not forget - This is if you can actually pay MSRP. I get that there are accessories/add-ons that you would not choose or you may not be interested in the running boards, tech package , air suspension etc. However, if you are going to buy the highest trim level available most of that should be included.

I was expecting about 5-7k less. I will seriously consider a Ram Limited Anniversary Edition.

A loaded limited today costs around 51-52k the same optioned limited in a 22 costs around 62-63 and that’s not even the hybrid. I think the hybrid will increase the cost by at least 3k. So 65k for a hybrid, I think the prices are off by at least 10k for a somewhat similar truck. Also most people are not doing to get a base truck with no options. I imagine most will get a limited or platinum, 60k gets you a well optioned sr5. I also don’t think the change in motor justifies the price increase, might be saving 3-4mpg, not worth it in my opinion to spend 10k more and save minimal on fuel. I can’t be certain of this but I think Toyota flopped this truck big time, these prices should be for the hybrid and a few thousand less for the ttv6. I see no incentive to upgrade from a proven setup in the current tundra.

I agree with ballpoints OH Tundra - If I owned a tundra right now, I would keep what I have and if you were actually in the market, I would not stay with Toyota. I hate to say that, I really really wanted to buy this truck.

Kung - The prices will not drop. They may offer rebates if they have a surplus of trucks. I dont see that happening for many months.
