I have been pulling things behind a truck for years and for me the shortest distance we took the Camaro on trailer was a car show in Kentucky 600 miles away where they had a track event I participated in. Deals Gap which is a well known spot for Performance vehicles and motor cycles is another destination we are looking at soon which is over 1000 miles one way and we will be going through the Appalachians. For you though sounds like you are fine for a half ton like the Tundra.

I'm also unfairly biased against 3/4-1 tons because around here they are not allowed on parkways which is BS.

The front I could maybe grow to accept with the abysmal approach angle but the rear end is an absolute abomination. Mike Sweers should be fired for this alone.

I don’t understand why they didn’t color match that hulk hogan mustache and the bumper below the grill on more trims…the mustache at the very least. Everything else is really good looking.

Went to the LA auto show and saw the new tundra door the first time. Here are some pics of the new hybrid system it looks like. Also some quick pics of the TRD pro.

The Santa Cruz has a higher payload than the Tundra.

I still do not see anything that remotely resembles an actual transmission cooler in any of those photos.... Even though they supposedly exist on the 3rd gen.

You shouldn't have put that much effort in what was obviously a troll statement.

Who in there right mind would compare a Tundra to a Santa Cruz? Maybe if I started wearing dresses I would start driving one.

The price of fuel is set by the corporation and not by the service station. The station in Gorda CA will just be paying more for the fuel than a station in Texas.

    FYI

More SR5s are showing up on Autotrader

Found one loaded with the Crewmax 4x4 TRD Sport package/Premium/14 inch screen, etc etc

    Magnetic grey and black interior

    Sticker is $57,744.

    Wish there was a picture!

So my guesstimate of $55,000 for the Doublecab was just about right.

Best way to get one is that FB group. Lots of idiots post stupid questions but there’s a lot of sales people advertising.

I personally wouldn’t get below a Platinum trim as below that doesn’t offer all the new stuff that makes it truly better than a 21.

What makes it better for me is the increased payload and mpgs. They all have that. Other than those improvements I wouldn't even consider trading. Jmo.

My dealer has a long bed platinum in silver showing up December/ early Jan for anyone looking. MSRP and $1k off if financed through Toyota…. Almost traded my truck in on it yesterday to drive until the hybrid comes out

Interesting. Kind of like those black widow in SCA packages for Ford and Chevy. But just like those there’s no way in hell I’m paying $100,000 for that.

Thanks for posting. I hadn't noticed how much the body flared out in other pics. Call me crazy and maybe it's because I've been staring at it for months but the TRD Pro is the best looking truck out there right now.

Wish toyota would just release the hybrids MPG and the pricing so we can decide if we want to wait or secure an allocation. I know it's wishful thinking and will probably have to wait until January or February to get that information.
