Agree. I am trying to say is the trim is just a name. The real comparison is the features.

If Toyota made a Capstone grade, but called it SR5 and sold for $70k, the name brand buyers will see it as "SR5 for $70k, that is crazy... SR5 went up $25k"

Reality is, although Toyota decided to keep the same trim names, it is a much improved and featured truck.

    A 2022 SR5 would be like a Capstone compared to the SR5 Gen 1.

The original Lexus LS was top notch, but pretty standard these days any non economy car. The Current LS has improved

You could take an SR5 (or XL, WT, etc), load it to Rolls Royce levels, and the Youtube reviewers would still sneer and call it a base model.

PVM is the view as if you're looking at your car from the outside. It's like a 3D model you can look around for objects and stuff.

Does anyone know, or can guess if the Army Green color will be the same as the Army Green used on the current Taco or hopefully, will be a little bit different? Thank you.

Toyota’s Army Green has been the same since the FJs first had it, even though there are different paint codes.

Seems that Cement, Quicksand, AG, Voodoo Blue, Cavalry Blue are all recycled FJ colors…

Thanks! My wife's 21 Highlander has the 360 View camera (shows an overhead view) really like that option especially in tight spots. Really want it on the Tundra. Thanks again for your reply.

Thank you. I really struggling to find a colour I actually like/want for a 1794 interior and for many years of ownership and service. I’m really stuck. I hate, the blue, don’t want black or grey or really the green, white isn’t long term practical and the red is, well... I’m struggling.

I'm also curious if anyone knows if the Army Green is available with a black fabric interior? (not grey)

In one of the posts that had the full list of each tundra by code there was a footnote that said pricing for Nov 21 production, then a second note that said Iforce max pricing will be released closer to production. Which makes me believe we won't know until February.

I agree. I do not see any pricing information for the hybrid coming until next year.

I dont get why their waiting so long. Im sure they know exactly how much extra their going to charge for the hybrid. I find it hard to believe their all still sitting around crunching numbers trying to figure out the cost. So why not just publish the prices along with the rest instead of waiting till the trucks are available. The new 2022 sierra wont be available till next spring either, but theve already put out cost for every trim. I think ford has done the same, with the ev lightning. Im sure their are folks that want to know, in order to make a decision to buy now or wait.

It's possible it's because it's not going to be that much more mpg or $$$ and when people see that they might not wait for it. They're using a cheaper battery and it's not a giant one either so I doubt this particular hybrid system is going to be as significant as some of their other ones.

Im the opposite , If its not much more, i can wait, but if its too much, no need to wait if i cant afford it anyway lol. I just want the pro and the non hybrid would be fine with me, but it only comes in hybrid. So ill be paying extra for something i dont want or need, but hopefully your right and it wont be too much more.

I agree for those unsure if they want the hydrid the lack of information would be very frustrating.

I just got a few quotes from contractors, good for 15 days. Usually, these quotes are good for 60-90 days, so i asked why it was only 15 now.

"Nobody knows what prices will jump tomorrow, let alone a month from now", so my bet is Toyota will wait until they are about ready to sell them.

Apologies. I haven't read through all of this but I understand the factory 3" lift isn't due until summer 2022 based on a previous post. Also does anyone know if you can order a CrewMax with 6.5ft bed yet? My dealer is telling me with the pent up demand, it is going to be all CrewMax with the shortbed in the near term. I am trying to determine if this is more based on their allocation than what Toyota will actually make available.

They are mostly true. Their is no ordering or putting in a request. At this time it is completely allocation or whatever mother Toyota sends them.

Yup. That's 150 miles with the standard battery. But, with the optional kitchen and tent I sacrifice no range.

This will hopefully be my exact buil minus the spray on bed liner. Unfortunately I will wait until I can get 7K off eventually it will happen and I’m in no rush. The only thing that might get me to buy soon is if the price of the Trd Pro is not crazy expensive. That orange color is amazing and regret not buying one in 2015.

I have noticed that some of our local NC dealers have already started posting 2022s (in transit) on their sites.

Hopefully some will be available for test drive in December.

Thanks all for the comments on the LB. Over the summer, I was looking at Tundras and Sierras but could find no inventory in the configuration I wanted. I still got out of my Tacoma in the summer bc trade-in prices were nuts. 85k miles and 6 years old and they nearly gave me what I paid for it while heavily discounting what I wound up getting - a Lexus GX460. I keep telling myself it is just a Land Cruiser Prado but it certainly isn't as utilitarian as a pickup. I was really disappointed with the Tundra at first but it is starting to grow on me. So I am trying to decide if I will be ordering a Tundra CrewMax Longbed or just wait a bit more. I still like the Sierra but every dealer I talk to wants to mark theirs up by $10k! No thanks. Cash price of my GX460 through Carvana is $6k more than I paid for it! This is indeed a crazy market as has been stated by many.

Dealer in the Northeast appears to have a SR5 Crewmax Longbed allocated to them.

I confirmed via the Toyota website VIN tool that it is in fact a Long Bed. This configuration is real close to what I'm looking for it's just missing the 14" screen, larger fuel tank and power outlets in the bed that I'd really want. I'm going to try and be patient and see what other dealers get allocated in the hopes one gets one with most of the options I want and a minimum of those I don't.
