    Yours?

Actually it can’t be as that’s a limited and you have a Sport per your sig.

Not a look for me…grazed a curb in an unfamiliar drive-thru just this weekend (those wheels would have been toast)

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with the others here, that really isn't my style. Yikes.

Really? Nobody likes wheels and tires that look like 1 layer of black electrical tap on a jet engine cowling? Shocker! :D

Agreed. My first thought was to comment on how the super rugged, ready for serious work, providing serious protection tonneau cover doesn't fit at all with the stilletto heals wheels but I didn't want to piss anyone off! Oh well, look what you made me do!

Some may chuckle or laugh, others go hmm interesting, other will love it. So if this is a pavement princess, what would the opposite be, a dirtbag? Just curious what today kids terms would be...

There's no term for the opposite because there's nothing extraordinary about using a 4x4 off-road. The reason "pavement princess" exists is because some people buy their trucks and 4wds for looks and ego boosting.

Headed back north and found some great spots off the beaten path for some stargazing and pictures. Having the power in the back and lighting system makes everything so damn easy. Love this truck!

Yeah, that's one of my biggest complaints is this thing can't turn at all. Makes tight trails really tough and parking lots a daily struggle. :annoyed:

Hello everyone! Just an update- Amp powersteps are currently 3-6 months out for the new 2022's. Looking forward to offering great deals once these get released!

TFL doing a fuel mileage loop at apx 5k ft altitude with four trucks. I have no interest in a full electric truck or SUV. Not interested in a GM 3.0l turbo diesel either. We'll stay with the old reliable 5.7l six speed and maintain it.

I wonder if they'll also offer powered steps for trd off road pkgs since Toyota didn't allow this add on.

Don't see why not. Mounting is the exact same across all trims. Also, Amp Research was supposedly 3-6 months out as of January 2022... so can't get my hope up that we'll see these anytime soon.

I know he's a consultant and has a legit history and all that, but in the age of the YouTube click race I can't help but think this would be the perfect little thing to do to get attention on a video. Easy to swap, doesn't get anyone in trouble but everyone will be taking about "the D" for a while.

I just don’t understand it because it’s not like they assemble that on the truck. Weird

but doesn’t surprise me honestly. Seems 22 quality is not as good as before.

Exactly, there's no way they are done by hand on the assembly line. This ain't a bently

Someone is having a joke in the factory or he did it himself.

Or I'm wrong but I'm going to go with the pessimistic view :)

It’s funny but that’s a thought that crossed my mind…
But then I had to shake that pessimistic view and remind myself that “hopefully he wouldn’t risk his reputation (assuming it’s good as I haven’t seen anything bad from him) for some clicks

Of all the automotive YouTube channels, his is the one I avoid at all costs. He has done some shady things in the past for clicks (claiming to have insider info that is either wrong or never materializes, for example), and every single one of his ENGINEER EXPLAINS titles just comes across as shameless click bait.

Question - It's my understanding that the Toyota stock product is the same. If my understanding is correct, does that also mean there's a 3-6 month delay for customer allocations (in my case Advanced Package) also? Thanks for the info.

Well I did this today smh. Apparently the dealers sell touch up paint pens so I’m hoping I can mask it somewhat when I’m able to swing by and pick one up.
