It's on par with the price jump of the first to second gen. A bummer? Sure. A surprise? Not really.

Edit: I misread your post. I read it as "toyota is pushing the limits" I'm dumb.

I have no clue, I just found the pic on the net, If I had to guess its probably the TRD OR or SPORT at that price.

Me thinks toyota probably should have released pricing before letting the dealers have access to sales sheets....lol.....

I guess you don't understand this thread is about MSRP and NOT dealer options or ADM. A base raptor is 65,000 MSRP from the manufacturer!!!! Yes your right probably won't find one with that price tag. I know the TRD pro is going to have huge ADM but from a business aspect why would Toyota price the TRD pro in the near 63k mark..

We "knew' nothing. Lots of assumptions were made, but nothing was known. A year ago some were still holding out hope that a base V8 option would still exist, or drooling at the thought of a supercharged V8. Nothing was known.

I actually agree for the most part that the roll out has been horrendous, but luckily it isn't going to matter in the long run. The truck is the truck, you either like it or you don't

true, its just a turn off at the moment and kinda souring the excitement of a new rig after all these years of waiting for a actual next gen tundra.

but ya, at teh end of the day, you like it or you don't and now that some of this pricing is coming out, you either want to pay that much or you don't lol.

Wow...then Hybrid Pros and 1794/Platinums are going to be pushing $70K for a well optioned truck.

I'm kind of shocked...thought it would be mid $60-$65K for fully loaded upper trim trucks.

Base MSRP for Plat/1974 is going to be 61k. Hybrids will still come in at the mid 60s mark.

    Are you that dense?

I said the TRD Pro will be 62-64k, you said at that price get a Raptor and I quite simply pointed out you can't. That's literally it. jfc.

How are they unreasonable? The Big 3 all have trucks in the $80k+ ranges. 22 Tundra won't even sniff the 70s.

Based on these non hybrid numbers, I bet a fully packaged hybrid could.

Can’t wait to see the Canadian prices. SR5 off-road was $51,500 last year.

Yes you can't but the MSRP is still 65,000 for the raptor. Ok seems like prices are rolling out, let's say the TRD pro MSRP is 63,000 base. Do you think even in a year we would be able to buy it at that price point though.

Toyota's hybrids are only about 2k more historically. A 1974 OR hybrid is going to be upper 60s if I had to guess, and that's the ceiling until Capstone.

Does Toyota have the same features? Anyway, I deleted my comment because I think the prices aren't that bad. I have to remind myself that MSRP on my truck was $53k CAD (about $45k USD) and that I got a big discount on it.

That's opinion based I suppose. I think Toyota has higher reliability at lower price point, but you probably will make some sacrifices in other areas like technology to do that. There's nothing that sticks out that I wish Toyota had that the Big 3 already have though. I don't really have a need for autonomous driving or 600hp engines at the moment.

Well these prices are right where I expected. Question is.. limited trd off road, or loaded sr5 trd off-road. The sr5 sure looks better and I hate the 20” wheels but I’m not really sure of all you get with a limited..

MSRP sound all good and fine..until they offer you about $10k under book for your trade.
