isnt may/june the switch over month for assembly lines for model years since the fiscal year starts in may?

edit: my bad, based on SEC filing, fiscal year is April 1 through March 31

wonder why they dump all those promotions in april instead of march? or do they try to kick start the fiscal year instead.

Will a RC 1.75 level kit fit a 2022 tundra TRD sport? These guys at the shop I’m at are turning me away saying they can’t figure out a solution to get it sit flush and I’m really thinking it’s due to their inexperience with the model and not the truck.

has anyone got this done for their truck and can provide comment?

That 1.75” won’t level it but have a nice stance with rake.

Maybe to better clarify they are saying they can’t even get it on at all saying the suspect the suspension type is the same as a TRD pro so they have now put everything back to stock and turning me away. According to RC website I don’t see how it wouldn’t work

I got these on a trip home yesterday. Took it straight to the dealer, they said the CEL isn’t flashing so it’s fine to drive and set me up with an appt for Wednesday.

Sorry but it just looks like an overweight Tacoma. I've grown to love the big grille and overall Tundra front. Especially in person the TRD and TRD pro grilles make it look great.

It's growing on me as it will on many but it won't ever be as good looking as the 2021 (and that was already in 4th place).

I had an 07/08/13/20 and I thought they were all butt ugly. The 2022 looks much better. YMMV.

    The CEL isn’t flashing :der:???

Int that the CEL icon in the botttom right side of the message or is there a difference in a solid CEL vs a pulsing/flashing one (if that’s a thing)?

Not trying to be facetious here…just inquiring.

I like the 2014-2021s far more than the 2007-2013s. Those are butt ugly.

Flashing CEL usually means misfire and can cause engine damage if you keep driving. Best to stop and tow. Had seen it happen to my grandfather 2012 f150 Lariat and it was a cracked spark plug.

They said if it’s flashing stop driving immediately. Another annoying thing is you cannot dismiss the CEL. If you hit back, it comes up 5 seconds later every damn time. On another note I drove 30 miles today, had it off for about an hour then headed back home and no CEL. Can Toyota see historical CEL codes? I want to know what happened but don’t want to bring it in if they’re just going to tell me it’s fine now.

I think people who choose a utilitarian tool based on its looks are weak.
    Their bloodlines are weak.
And they will not survive the winter.

Just put deposit down on my 22 Tundra.

Dealer did let me add Home-Link mirror option. not sure if it’s the auto dimming one like previous generations or not…

Random question: Anyone know what the (factory I guess?) is coating these trucks with? Washed mine for the first time today and the water was beading like crazy (which is great), but whatever it is didn't like my car wash shampoo at all. The suds basically immediately disappeared as soon as I started cleaning. Took like 3X the amount of normal shampoo to wash. lol

Does it mention home link mirror on your screen shot somewhere? I don’t see it on there. My dealer basically said it’s only available on an SR5 if it’s decked out with options.

Available on the advanced package but I would be required to pick up premium package as well.

I have an updated build sheet we signed off on adding “Rear-View Mirror with Home Link” for $199. Its listed as an accessory on Toyota’s build site.
