Ya that feature looks great, as much as I want to not buy an f-150, I built a black appearance package lariat high with the bigger generator all loade up and damn I may have to give that thing a look

I’m hanging in the garage at the moment and just measured again, damn that 233.6 is going to be super tight , I don’t think it’s going to make it

Honestly nothing wrong with the f150. I think instead of platinum tundra I’ll look for a TRD sport lunar rock until the sequoia comes out.

ya you and I both think 100 alike when it comes to the sport is the only trim they got right from a looks perspective , I’ll have a decent amount of work to do on the tundra platinum if I go that way, the grill , the stash, fender flares, tailgate piece all have to be swapped for trd sport parts

I think I'm going to long term own the Sequoia but wouldn't mind a TRD sport in the mean time.

I’m not doing shit until I can test drive the f-150 lariat, gmc AT4 6.2, and tundra platinum.

I may be waiting a while but that’s fine too, not in a big rush, I’m still really undecided on those 3, all super nice and have pros and cons each

Ive been thinking sequoia as well but that hybrid only stuff and the way the back area is just is a non starter for me, I would wig out trying to get my stuff in the back easily and curse the day I didn’t have a truck

wcp is very very nice in person, was not my first choice, but it's a happy accident because I love the color.

funny thing with the color, i placed order for red b4 price and builder were up, dealer worked up the numbers but never included the "special color" into the price, due to regional restrictions I could not get red so switched to WCP, also a special color. when I picked up the truck the manager told me he was adjusting the price to remove the color upcharge because my original order was for a red special color and they did not include the upcharge in the original price... In the grand scheme of things it's not a major issue 300-400 bucks, but It shows what a good dealer will do for customers, MSRP,Great service and communication, then reduction in price due to a clerical error.
I have placed another order with them for Rav4 Hybrid Lunar Rock.

also they are 8-10 months out when taking orders for tundra, they were spot on in october when they told me 4 months so I feel these are accurate numbers

A friend of mine just got his 1794 in Red and paid the up charge. He ordered in early December I believe. When I saw his sheet at first I was certain there was a mistake. Proved me wrong!

Garage ability is a big deal to me also. I have zero interest scraping ice off the windshield.

ya these new ones are super pushing the limits of a standard garage (20’).

sucks but it is what it is , may not be in another tundra unless I can stuff that thing in here. I’m thinking I could maybe take off that long door support thing to gain a few inches

That’s good to hear, it was my 4th choice colour but when dealer had the exact model I wanted allocated, in WCP I said yes. I am hoping to have it in Apr, ordered mid January. The more I see on vids, the more I like it.

Garage ability was the least of worries over here in Texas. Half the garages around here don’t get used for vehicles lol. My 16 was too damn big for sure with the lift and my new one actually fits I just converted it to a home gym.

The "20 foot" garages in my neighbourhood don't fit any make of full size truck built in the last 20 years.

Longbed crewmax but I’ll never have the garage problem…don’t got one ☹️

part having a house that was built in the horse and buggy days I guess.

I know I know someday I’ll add one on.

New Sequoia has your interest? What are you seeing? Sorry to be negative nancy but the new Sequoia is a pretty face with crawl control. Supposed to bridge the gap between the LC200 and the LX600. I guess it does that, but the cut to cargo area makes me like the '19 more. I don't see much better fuel mileage.

The new 3rd gen Sequoia does not have full-time AWD. It’s got 4x4 like the Tundra

in regards to the auto steps...

    1. i live in ND, its pointless to have during winters up here. i see so many either stuck to the body, stuck down or left in the down position due to the ice/snow freezing them in place

    2. why would i pay $1600 for the steps if i am going to remove them an lose money trying to resell them?

I've also noticed the rear window down noise issue. Not sure what it is but it just sounds rattily.
