I see a lot of metal beds that are all beat to hell. I have a piece of 3/4 inch treated plywood in the bed of my F250 SD to take the beating. If I haul anything of any weight it is usually on the trailer rather than in the back of the truck. A composite bed would be great if the composite layers are laid at the right angle and the material is thick enough.

Here is another example with a color matched front end that is a major improvement over the original design of the 1794 (for those who dislike chrome):

Definitely not worth the extra coin for the hybrid, unless you really, really want that bit of extra power.

Good lord Toyota should have used her to model the interior. She makes it look like a god damn school bus.

Fellow Memphian here, I have one and I've seen one other so far, an Army Green Limited on 240 the other day. I got mine at Principle 2 weeks ago and I was the 2nd to take delivery on a 22 with them.

Bad news for the "TRD PRO will easily hit $70k crowd"

Just as I expected and have been saying for months now, mid 60's

So 3400 upcharge for the hybrid. The TRD pro isn't a bad price but that capstone is just a hard justification

Another internet bet won, this time with $1,100 to spare. This forum loves overpricing things in their heads.

I put hybrid upgrade at 4k and TRD pro near 70k range. At 68.5k. not too far off

$66.8k for Pro. Toyota includes destination in their MSRP unlike other brands (I'm assuming that's what you added to get to $68.5k).

In the video they stated that didn't include destination.

Ah, I didn't get a chance to watch the video. That's strange because all other sticker prices include destination built into the final MSRP.

I was expecting mpg to be more competitive to the F150 hybrid, but I guess since they got downgraded to 23 combined this year it's only 2 off. Still a slight disappointment in that area, but overall not a huge deal.

That weight penalty hitting hard vs. the F150 Powerboost.
Tundra is -4 city, -1 hwy, -2 comb.

I will say it beats the F150 on pricing. A decked lariat powerboost hits 70k equally equipped.

The Tundra body still uses a lot of steel like the cab, the rear doors, etc whereas all F150 body panels and cab are aluminum. Plus I bet the Tundra rear suspension is heavy with the 4 links vs Ford’s monoleaf rear suspension. The only downside I see for Ford is their battery is liquid cooled and mounted outside the vehicle. That requires more weight in the form of cooling liquid, piping, and a protective battery case.

Hmmm now that i've seen several options of the front color matching bumpers, i'm torn between which looks the best:

    1) Color Match Mustache, foglight bar, and lower bumper
    2) Color Match Mustache and foglight bar, keep lower bumper black
    3) Color Match Mustache and lower bumper, keep foglight bumper black

I like option 2 because it breaks the huge black area of the front. Option 1 seems to overdo the color matching and may reduce the grill size too much.

Option 2 and add color match on the fender flares. You get close to the Capstone look (minus the grill and wheels) without the price premium.

2A) Color Match Mustache, foglight bar and fender flares, keep lower bumper black

When I get my silver or white Plat I'm going to color match the mustache and fender flares and add the TRD grille.

that capstone price is just way out of line.

the hybrid is not worth it at all in any model IMO

The capstone is a joke honestly. Two pieces of laminate for the windows and interior of NY's finest B&W cookie.
