So does this edition not pipe in engine noise to make it sound like a v8. If you make changes to make that cab quieter, why add noise?

Had acoustic glass on my rubicon. Not impressed. It gives a really odd tinkling sound when the rain hits the windshield.

A raked truck is a truck that does actual truck stuff.

A leveled truck is just a truck in a less fuel efficient “pre-squat” stance. It will start to resemble the Carolina squatters once you start to load up the bed.

This is why so many guys mod their Pro’s rear suspension…the extra 2” up front plus the soft rear leafs makes the truck squat when towing or hauling.

Dang it Coal Dragger you did it again and it is getting me a tad disturbed .
You see after a long day i typically come home an get out of my old beater truck, kick the dirt off my work boats, and head into the garage. i take a glance at the multi battery rechargeable unit to make sure all the slots are full with batteries . Mainly D batteries for my flashlights and my wife’s vibration thunder stick. She always said the thing she loved most about me was my luscious silky lips and well since my beard has grown out and became more barly fluffy she now says she doesn’t like sticking her face thru 2 inches of bush to get to my silky lips I am bummed, so foreplay is down and thus the sex life has been drought impacted. I’m in search of a good thunderstorm with big ta ta’s.. Anyway, i kick my work boots off and always check my right foot tube sock to see if there is any blood around the right big toe area , that freaking big toe toe-nail always gives me trouble and tends to bleed into the tube sock after a long day of work. Normally all good there ,,,and i head into the kitchen and grab a short glass and pour a 2oz -to- 4oz bourbon drink and take a swig. I then jump into the shower , have dinner and am rdy for bed. As i lay my head down on my pillow , I check my rectangle communication device with a screen (before I put it down on my bedside table) and look at the all brand new outstanding 2022 Toyota Tundra in hopes of producing great dreams an dreamscapes of me riding around in a non-leveled , non-squatter 2022 Tundra at camp sites and trails thru-out the country…..it works and I’m in my very happy place dream state of mind …………..
until around 2:08 AM when on my bedside table my rectangle communication device with a screen goes Beep Beep Beep (dam i have the notification setting turned ON ) i look at it and it is Coal Dragger !!! DOG-GONE-it pontificating again about The presumed 2022 Toyota Tundra VALUE !!! i throw my rectangle communication device with a screen at the wall and ever so slightly cuss under my breath as not to wake up the mrs ,,,,, dang that Coal Digger messin with my sleep again i am goin to have a bad day if I don’t get my shut eye !!!

    Sorry about the sleep deprivation.

Since I’m waking you up at 02:00 maybe you should give Mrs. TrimTab some surprise attention? If she gets mad you can blame some random dude on the inter webs for giving you bad advice. She can hate me all she wants to, being as I don’t have to live with her.

If anyone else needs some bad advice, I am willing to give it.

I know it's horrible to take care of but I may have to go black when I upgrade from my 16. My 4runner was mgm and so is my tundra so it'll be time to change. Plus my boat is black so it's gotta match

I was looking at new some the new videos. I think the rear window rolls down on these. The half wall folds down, but I think the rear window goes down. Did the old avalanche's do that too?

I honestly thought about doing black and then just spending the coin on a good ceramic coat or full PPF. But I'd rather spend less and color match the parts of the windchill I don't like to make it look good. More I see that WCP the more I enjoy it. Also my F150 is space white so I'm enjoying not having to worry about seeing swirl marks or scratches from a distance like I did our black CRV.

I don't think the old ones rolled down, but they were removeable If I remember correctly, you had to remove the window and then the back wall would fold down.

That sounds right. The wall folds on these too. And from the video thought the window retracted. Could also only retract if you are folding down the wall .

Sounds like something I would drop and shatter my backwindow trying to put it down.

My truck is a midnight edition Trail Boss.

Some housewife doing her weekly dusting 3 states over has me heading for the carwash.

Our Corolla is black. My Tundra is white. I'll never own either color again. I really want my next truck to silver. I've had 2 silver trucks and it's a great color for looks, hiding dings and staying clean. Here in Canuckistan though, the SR5 TRD OR isn't offered in silver from what I can tell. If I go with a '22, I'll probably end up with MGM. I don't mind lunar rock, but I'm not sure if I want to look at it for 10 years.

Almost all my trucks have been black. I had a dark green F150 SuperCrew once. That was a mistake.

I live in CO and the "black trucks get dirty too fast" stuff is silly. If you have OCD issues and are always washing your truck, I could see that as a problem. It's OK for your truck to get a little dirty. My truck is usually relatively clean until it snows. I think the hottest two 2022 Tundras will be the black Sport and the black Pro. MGM is second, but black wins easy in my book.

I'm going to repair my cam shaft leak around this time next year on my 2018 Sport. If surgery goes well, I'll get a supercharger. If surgery goes poorly, I'm going to get a black 2022/2023 Pro. In person, I think the black Pro is going to be the best looking of the 2022s.

LOL, maybe you're just used to the dirt and water spots on your glasses because black cars don't make it out of the wash bay before looking dirty again!

Someone on this forum or another briefly mentioned a ceramic wax type product that worked on black vehicles but didn't say any details. I'd love to hear more about that because I do like the way they look (for that moment from the wash bay to the car wash exit).

Would be interesting to note how this is impacted when someone installs aftermarket exhaust? Is the amplification coming from a microphone close to the manifolds?

After the car wash, it is helpful to do a little mop up with a rag. Especially with the Leer shell because it's still draining.
