Official 2022 3rd Gen Celestial Silver Metallic Thread

Well after a month of ownership of my first silver Tundra . All black before this one. I have to say something … IT Always looks Clean !! I’m so used to wash it and it’s nice for an hour . This thing looks clean from 20ft for a week lol ! Lovin this CS with the black accents . Decided to swap the TRD red decal for matching silver . Goes with the tailgate insert and grill accents . Adding the wheels and tires this week has changed the appeal of the truck to me again. I wasn’t too sure about them ,but I like enough for now . Even without the lift ( which will happen , right Toyota ? ). I trimmed the mudguards today and pinned back the shitty fabric liner . I’m very happy I went with CS over any other color option. Never thought I’d say that lol

 

Really like the wheel/tire setup. Please share details on them. May shamelessly copy for my 2020 Limited

 

Thanks ! They are RTX Patton 18x9 +10 with Toyo OC AT3 295/70/18’s . Run smooth, quiet and track really well in the rain compared to the BFgs I’ve ran previously . The wheels aren’t HRE’s but for now I’m liking it , especially for the price !

Do you have pics of the smoked chrome on against the silver? I was thinking that might look good against the black grill, but also leaning towards full color match too.

 

Absolutely agree with all the different colors on these silver limiteds!

I wanted an SR5 bc of the color matching and black trim, badging, but they didn’t have any in stock when I needed to buy due to my last car dying.

now my local dealership has 15 SR5’s with nearly any and all color combos and packages available.

Anyone with a CSM TRD Sport or Capstone changes their color matched fender flares and want to sell a real clean set? I have a 2025 Limited TRD OffRoad and want to change from my black OEM flares.

I normally wouldn’t claim to be fond of silver cars but it just works on this truck / trim / whatever. And I’m biased now of course

Ironman 4x4 suspension lift -2/1”. Even the missus noticed an improvement in ride quality and she hates commenting on my truck (doesn’t want to enable me or something). Now for new wheels and tires that she’ll absolutely ignore.
