Been using a fas-top solo topper for the last year. Next week my Leer 100XR should be arriving and I'll be putting on some new 18in rims.

Got a pinstripe today to pull out the blue stitching and ambient light from the interior of the platinum. Looks great!

Can I jump in with my 2023? I tried my hand at striping. Turned out fine so far. So far I'm loving the truck, I traded my 06 Tundra in foe a Ford - but I'm back,

Truck looks so much better on 35’s. Factory non Avs suspension and no rub. These tires are great, but they do have a little road noise above 55mph

I’ve had this rig for a couple of weeks now! 2023 Platinum iForce Max. I’ve done a few things to it:

    • Tinted the front windows
    • Swapped our factory tires for Falken Wildpeaks in 275/60-20
    • Lomax Stance Tonneau in the urethane finish
    • Bedrug
    • Go Rhino Rb20 Slim Running Boards
I’m looking at doing a small lift on it but not totally sure yet.

    Loving it so far!!

Truck looks great. Would you be able to post a photo showing how much the slim boards stick out from the rocker? Mine came with the OEM oval steps and I can hardly get my big foot on them. Thanks!

The slim RB20 are useless IMO. I changed to the bigger ones

Thanks gents. That is what I assumed. I'm having the same issue with the factory boards now, looks like RB10 or the standard RB20 will be my answer.

And also because I’ve had both coatings make sure you get bedliner coating with it not the textured . The textured just looks dirty all the time .

Huh, I did the complete opposite. I found the wider to be way too wide. I swapped to the narrower ones and love them; my kids rave about them too. Different strokes, I guess.

Well I never expected to post in this thread. I was holding out for a Supersonic Red, buuuut this guy hit my local lot via dealer trade. It was a pre-recent price increase build, so I basically saved $1,525 out of the gate. I wasn’t having luck getting red and simply didn’t want the price to go up again before I found one.

My dealer took $3,000 off and gave me a decent amount for my 2007 in trade. Even got financing close to what my bank was offering, which saved me two days.

Blue Streak Beauty will be missed dearly. Just shy of 220,000 miles on the 2007 Limited DC. She got me through all 48 continental states like a champ.

2023 Platinum 4x4, Silver Bullet, takes over.

You will love the silver, it's very easy color to look after.

I don't mind silver at all, it's my wife that dislikes it. She wanted MGM, which I like but wouldn't want to look at it for 10 years. Finally got her to give a "meh" to silver and that's all the opening I needed. I may not have gotten the Supersonic Red I wanted, but this way I keep my trend of a different color historically. I've had white, red, black, blue, and now silver. I'm exited to get back to the days of my Tundra looking clean even when it isn't.

I agree with the lack of cleaning. I'm terrible about regularly washing my vehicles, but silver is so forgiving. This is my third silver vehicle and I love it. I had a blue Tacoma, it was an amazing color, but it showed everything; every scratch, every spec of dirt, every water sport. I've also owned a multitude of colors and I'll likely stick with silver in the future. Plus, it looks good on any vehicle.

I had a ‘19 Platinum MGM and honestly, I like the silver MUCH better, particularly when you can see the “sparkle” when clean, and hides dirt well vs MGM; selfishly I think the Platinum is the way to go too with the darker metallic and black accents vs chrome.

I had a Blue Ribbon Metallic Tacoma…boy I miss that color and truck…6 speed manual 4.0 with the TRD Supercharger…

Not in the tundra, but my RAM 2500 had the OEM sprayliner. No fitment issues at all. They sell a spray liner kit, which is basically just some 3m adhesion promoter. Basically, clean the crap out of the areas with alcohol and apply the adhesion promoter and you shouldn't have any issues.

Very much the same situation I was in except my wife wanted the CSM while I wanted Supersonic Red. We have had black, blue, gold, silver and MGM Toyota's in the past. We liked the MGM at first but it's hard to keep it looking clean. I am not one for much chrome either but with the CSM I think the satin chrome on the Limited blends in pretty good which means less parts to repaint or swap out. The CSM in my opinion looks the best on those half sunny/half cloudy days as the body lines of the truck creates different shades of silver. My CSM Tundra Limited Crewmax TRD Off Road arrives the week of July 16th to 21st, can't wait!
