Official 2022 3rd Gen Celestial Silver Metallic Thread

Here’s my 22 SR5 premium, I just added the canopy. For outside improvements I have color matched side view mirror covers on the way, and will be adding the heritage grill, window tint, running boards, tires and likely 1794 wheels.

 

My old wheels would look great on this rig!

I’m trading in my ‘22 double cab and am picking up the same trim you have here, crew max and 6.5’ bed. It’s definitely long but the double cab is just too small and I camp in the back so need a 6.5’ bed.

Any regrets?

 

None. It’s a lot to park but it’s the best combo available.

Very nice! I just ordered my TRD PRO grille and marker lights. I have the CSM platinum as you do, how do you feel about keeping the smoked chrome mustache? I am leaning to get mine color-matched, but I don't hate the way yours looks. Second Q- did you consider spraying the grille with a gloss black to match the rest of the platinum badging, or does the matte finish look good? thx!

 

First wash. Picked her up 6 days ago. Swapped over some of the parts off of my black Tundra, will do the rest when the babies allow free time hahaa. Loved my black truck but it was a nightmare to keep 2 black cars clean + all the trail pinstripes on the truck. Very happy with the silver.

Are your riding the curb with your front right tire?

 

Just cleaned mine the other day.

 

Nope. The parking spot is very angled and the front tire is just touching the curb, and not over it. The wheel wells show the truck is pretty neutral on its suspension.

 

Truck looks great. What wheel tire combo is that?

 

Lock off road “Baja” wheels 17” with 0 offset and 37” BF-Goodrich KO2’s.

Looks great - what running boards are those?

 

Factory for now, not a lot of options for the 6.5' bed it seems. I was looking for sliders, haven't found what I want yet though.

 

I was running the factory TRD running boards and removed them to sell. Someday I’ll find sliders that I like.
