What kind of wheel and tire set up do you have?

These are Icon Recon SLX in 18s (+25 offset). Tires are Toyo Open Country III’s in 35x12.5.

Have a 2” front lift. Only had to pin back the liner and no rub. Also fit the same wheel and tire under the truck with no modification, but did lower the tire pressure to 20 lbs.

Just had some paint repair work done to my 2024 Celestial Silver due to issues with a previous shop causing 17k damage to a 200mi vehicle. One of the areas repainted was the inside the door jambs. New paint looks Matte, but I swear old was shiny. Can anyone verify with theirs? I haven't seen this truck in 3mo and barely had it then.

Post a pic of what you are questioning & I’ll post a pic of mine in the same spot.

    Mine is definitely shiny

Thanks, I have attached a few pictures of the lower passenger jamb corners. It's tuff to see, but the jamb itself was one of the areas repainted, but the moldings were not. There is a difference in sheen between the two in person. I did look thru some of my pre-inspection photos, and it looks like they were cleared from the factory.

Another question was on the black-out tape on the A and B/C pillars. They had to pull to repaint and now I see silver paint showing where I don't remember it before. (Edit to add, again looking thru my pictures it does look like at least A is correct. I had thought the tape extended under the fender previously)

Over-all I think they did a good job on the paint, but the little details are bothering me on a basically brand new vehicle.

    Congrats, great choice.

Not sure what modifications you have planned but if you have any the first thing to consider is getting better tires. Those ones from the factory are really horrible.

Thanks for the info. Will look into tires. I'm picking it up this evening and I'm already $2400cad into mods. o_O. This is going to be an expensive hobby.

The tire shop I bought mine from took my factory tires as part of the deal. I drove straight to their shop right after I picked the truck up from the dealership so the tires had less than 25 km on them. I got $400 off my new tire purchase. I figure that was better than sitting on them for months taking up space in my garage. Nobody seems to want the factory take offs, I guess they know how crappy they are.
