I paid $3,000 over MSRP. No shame in sharing that publicly, it is what it is. I had to drive two hours to avoid a $10,000 markup. (California)

on my 2020 I was OTD at MSRP. they ate tax tags titles and spray in liner for me... As I was able to intercept the truck before port, I had them take off all the BS accessories and add a few I wanted. Worked out well for me

That's awesome man. I got bent over, good thing I had a trade-in and a large deposit. I'm only in California for grad school and it's definitely a sellers' market.

Mine is $47342 not including taxes, etc. I haven’t taken delivery yet (built 2.5 weeks ago). MSRP for a 2020 double cab is $50100 so I think my price is invoice. I lucked out due to an error in how the dealer posted it to their website. Ordinarily they sell them at MSRP with no discounts but also no market adjustments.

For the coating? 500 plus any paint correction, not to exceed 1,000 total.

Pretty consistent. Paid $900 for the coating and PPF for the headlights, fog lights, and TSS sensor.

Ok, gotta vent. Virtually anything that one orders these days has pretty detailed tracking. Heck, when Amazon gets a few stops away from my house I can track them in real time. Same with Door Dash.

So, how is it that the information the dealer has access to regarding my trucks journey from TX to ID is limited to knowing that it’s on its way and should be here by 12/17?

To be clear, it’s not the amount of time it takes- I get that it’s a bigger deal to transport a vehicle than a cardboard box. It’s just that I’m pretty confident that there’s probably a bar code sticker on our near my truck that is getting scanned by someone at various points along the way.

So do the dealers not actually have access to this information or is there some benefit to keeping me from making plans because today might be the day (not literally today, I know it’s too soon)? I’ve seen too many vehicles delivered a couple days before the expected date to think that it’s not more like a multi day window around the 17th.

Anyway, it’s fine and I’ll survive but it seems like the dealers would be interested in that more detailed information as well.

Ok, back to trying to think about other things and not spilling anything in my trade in.

Double cab or CM? That's a great deal! I didn't know rear heated seats were even an option....

I asked why the transit info was so vague as well while waiting for months for delivery after my Truck was built. I have ordered 3 Raptors and at any time I could either ask my salesman or Ford on FB and they would let me know when I got a VIN, build date or the current status and once on a train they even gave me the train car ID so I could track it on the train right to a delivery date that was accurate.
I deal with the Dealership Manager at my dealer and he explained that they also could do that a few years ago but Toyota changed the system and now it’s very vague...he showed me several times what he sees on his computer when he looks up the Truck and it is basically a 5 day delivery window that in my case changed 5 times due to a hold on something.
Ordered in July, built in mid August delivered mid November
But I have had my PRO now for a month today and 9000 kms
I love it worth the wait.

Thanks for letting me know that they are just as in the dark as I am. :)

I’m sorry yours got so delayed (I remember reading those posts-aaagh!) but really glad it was worth it.

I’m pretty ok with the wait itself, it’s the lack of precise information in this age of too much information that wigs me out. On the upside, it’s extra time I get to spend with my trade in (17 cement Pro 4Runner).

I don't understand it either, I shipped a car from NY to CA and it arrived in 3 days. I'm sure it'll all work out.

I upgraded to the Nitto Grappler tires, spray in Berliner and the step bars. I kept my old bed cover. Tires make it look meaner over the stock ones. Paid 53k all in. They gave me 36k for my 17 Barcelona Red. Apple Play and quad screen set up shows 4 things at once. I set mine up for phone, local weather, miles left in tank, and nav map maybe. Lots of options. Still figuring out the different bells and whistles. Truck is killer. Sounds good. Tow/haul for extra pep.

Nice and great deal, I love mine-first Toyota. Solid honest truck. You really get what it means when people say "honest" when you get a Tundra.

At first I thought the Pred Bars would be stupid, they're actually pretty nice and I'm glad mine came with them.

Just grabbed mine. Kept the stock tires after running mud tires for six years ( two tundras ) and never actually taking it muddling...

Transferred my steps I had from my last Tundra, since they were Linex’d and my Line X trifold cover.

I’ll chime in. Traded in the ‘19 Limited for a 2020 CM Superwhite. Just didn’t feel like spending the cash on the upgrades to turn the Limited to a Pro. And I freakin love the push button/keyless. This truck rides so much better than my limited. Did my first mod. Tailgate lettering. It added easily 5HP! 61DCE526-13E9-4D70-8E7D-DABB076F0257.jpgDA82B08E-9616-4D03-84D8-08FC1E519F31.jpg
