I love it, Youve convinced me to stealth wrap mine when it comes in. any complaints about the stealth wrap? Is it hard to keep looking good?

 

Also, did you get your wrap done in colorado? If so, who did you use and what did you pay otd if you dont mind me asking

 

The wrap is super easy to maintain. It looks good in all weather and I don't have any complaints about the film itself.

That said, a good wrap shop is like a good tattoo guy; do your research. I had a bit of problems with the install right out the gate and actually wound up taking it to another shop to get some issues corrected. Not to throw the first shop under the bus, but wrapping a car does take a good amount of skill. The second shop I'm working with is in Arvada, CO (Forged Auto Styling).

The wraps aren't cheap by any means but this is far and away the best thing I've ever put on any vehicle. I took truck out wheeling and had a few contenders for some trail stripes down the side. The film held up perfectly while the door decals have the scratches. You can't even tell I scraped a couple tree branches just by looking at the film.

Qi charger fix is almost finish and will be released for purchase in the next few weeks hopefully! Just finishing up a few more rounds of testing.

Initial product is only the drivers side charger for existing qi-capable truck consoles. We are still working on the passenger side and are making sure it is expandable from the drivers side.

 

Qi charger fix is 98% done. Gonna be a slight delay because the vendor we chose to supply the power cords isn’t going to work out. But we already have a new one ready to go and should be receiving the new cords in a week or two.

From there, we have to build up inventory and will announce when it goes out for regular Tundra consumption.

This is interesting. Have you looked at Tundra models that don't have built-in Qi? If so, is the wiring there just not the charger itself? Could you actualy add Qi to the stripped-down models?

 

Got ahold of the guys at UpTop Overland for a good deal on a Retrax TRUSS bed rack and some accessories. Also getting hooked up with a nice little surprise that I’m hoping will be extremely functional and look seamless with the rack.

Here’s mine. I feel like I’m working the opposite direction your plan. Have a set of squadron pros and an auxbeam awaiting install. Next is prinsu or uptop roof rack with light bar. Wheels last. I love the retrax AFS system, cleanest set up.

 

Beautiful truck. It looks like you have the oem trifold tonneau? What brand bed racks are those and how difficult was the install? Can the tonneau still fold up with the racks on?

 

Finally got around to ordering some more stuff:

• UpTop Overland Mid-Height Retrax TRUSS
• UpTop Overland rack hooks (special order)

As soon as the retrax comes in, the bed will be near finished…for now. I already got a bead on a bed accessory that’s going to make it 100% more usable.

 

What is the patch attachment mechanism?

Had a small problem with the Retrax after installation. Called Retrax to try and solve it and was told it was probably damaged during shipping. So they are shipping me a new one and said to “field destroy” this one.

Mind you it still works. Just a small minor flaw.

 

Got these in. Gonna do a small little side project with them that will, hopefully, cut my weekend loadout times significantly.
