Just so I’m clear... Are all options matte black or are there any gloss black options? I’m aware that you can go factory black Toyota, Nightshade take-offs, or TRD PRO take-offs. Just wondering the difference between these various options.

Just replace it with a standard black iForce badge. Who cares if it doesn’t say Platinum anymore.

Does anyone know if the OEM black emblems, not overlays, but the replacement badges, are metal or plastic?

99% sure they are plastic... it’s been like a year since I installed them but pretty sure they are plastic, so are the chrome ones I think.

Has anyone had any luck finding black badges that are NOT overlays ? I have a 2017 Limited .....took off the chrome badges, and now there is "ghosting" I cannot remove.....SO, I thought my only option would be to replace with black to cover the mess I made. Thanks for any help !

Do you try compound with a buffer and then polishing?

Cover King seat covers, weathertech rain guards and floor mats - still working on mods
There's no alignment holes like some other manufacturers? I need to replace mine since they are fading.
