Just minor stuff. For example, Undercover bed cover, Tufskinz custom door sill protectors, and TRD air filters.
I’ve had great luck with the Undercover Elite bed cover so I put it on my Tundra. I know I can’t open the tailgate without the cover being up, but then it is more secure. Even if a shop has my key fob, they can’t get into the bed without the cover key. I like the security, plus I get zero water, dust, etc in the bed. Rather then a bed mat, I use outdoor entrance mats that have see through scroll work. Two are 2’ X 4’ and I’m ordering a 18” X 4’ which gives me bed coverage and is easily removed as needed. Bought them at Home Depot and nothing slips.

Don’t know if it will work, but try holding the cruise control button down a few seconds, then you may get regular cruise control. I’d have to try it myself to be sure.

Yes, someone suggested this to me earlier and I tested it out. YES, a long hold to turn on cruise will put it in constant speed cruise on my 22 (aka: old-school cruise).

Weird that it does that. On my 20 and the wife’s 20 Lexus the adaptive cruise works perfect. If I come up on a slow car and switch lanes, in both vehicles it just speeds up to set speed. I have never had it let of the gas because of on coming traffic. I will say that sometimes it will show that you’re behind a car but nothing is there. When this happens there is a car on the opposite side of the road, but never lets off the gas.

I like that the 14" screen allows split screen in Android Auto (you only get single screen with the 8" system). Of course this only works if the system will refrain from connection timeouts for a while.

I'm confused why they didn't implement split screen in the native Toyota UI. They just made everything bigger and it reminds me of those phones that my grandparents used to have.

The front sensor is annoying. If I stop at just the right distance behind someone, usually in drive-thru's, the truck goes absolutely nuts. The truck with start dinging and the screen will switch to the front camera, but then the alarm stops and screen goes back to the radio. It will cycle back and forth spending 2-3 seconds on each one until I creep forward an inch so the camera stays on all the time or the car in front creeps forward an inch for it to just go off.

Does it not give you the option to hit "ok" on the steering wheel to shut it off temporarily? That's what I do in the car wash when it wants to go nuts.

That works if you can catch it, but it doesn't come on and stay. Just cycles between the two so by the time you hit ok the message might already be off the screen.

Now that I haven't seen lol. On the carista thing, you can adjust the sensitivity and depth of your parking sensors (I'm pretty sure). You may be able to sort it out that way.

Yeah first time it happened I just kind of sat there staring at it thinking "wth did I do?" LOL. I've since been able to replicate it a few times by creeping up on the car in front real slow. If you can stop right on that line between where the system says either "you're good" or "you're too close" it can't make up it's mind which one it is. LOL. Easy fix is to just move up an inch closer, but still makes me laugh when it happens.

I haven't got carista or tech stream yet to play with any of the options.

I can't help but wonder if something isn't working properly. I've never had that occur. I tried to duplicate using my garage wall and can't. I wonder if anyone can duplicate that.

Hi, I got this same vibration issue when waiting at the red light idling. Did you figure out what it may be?

Yep, in essence it's minor but mildly annoying plus after getting up to speed for more then a minute it's a non-issue as the water is blown off I find.
You can drill out the drain holes larger if you want in the bed. I did that on my Tacoma with the composite bed.

I haven't really figured it out. Your the only one that has responded to having the same issue. Not sure that it is an issue but it does seem odd. It seems like the engine is allowed to idle too low when coming to a stop or its still under a load like the torque converter is still locked up. I don't feel like the truck is trying to pull like a manual transmission still in gear, but something seems to be pulling the engine down causing it to idle really low which is causing the brief vibration.

I noticed the other day. Sitting at a red light, I rolled my back window down, then back up. After it was back up, I heard a faint constant beep/ring for about 2-3 seconds. So I tested again. Same thing. Sounded like the tone of a back up buzzer on heavy equipment. I thought, eh just a coincidence, I'll try 10 more times. It for sure sounded like it was coming out of back wall. Tried it again, yesterday. No sound.

Not sure if anyone else’s trucks do this, but it just bugs me. When I use cruise control I’ll set the speed at 60 or whatever, but my actual speed is ALWAYS one mile an hour slower than what it’s set at. So if it’s set at 60, the truck will hold true at 59. Super small thing but annoys me and I don’t understand why it would hold at 59 if I have it set to 60? Anyone else notified this?

I notice this allot with mine as well. I have a bunch of hills on the interstate though. It's not everytime but probably over half the time.

Yes, I've noticed this too. My guess is it's a rounding issue in the computer. I'm guessing you actually set the cruise control at 59.4 MPH, but the cruise will round up (telling the truck not to go over 60), but then the actual speedometer is rounding down to 59.

I've noticed my radar cruise control is extremely brake happy. There should be a bigger buffer zone so when someone pulls out in front of me, but they are clearly going faster than I am, the truck should just cruise for a couple seconds. But it doesn't. It applies the brakes and pisses off me and everyone else behind me.

From what I've read in my research, the Automatic Engine Off at stoplights is a requirement to meet emission standards. I've never met anyone who likes this and there are endless threads asking how to turn it off (for all vehicles), but it's mandated in new vehicles.

We can thank the Green Cult for pushing this nonsense legislation.

Noticed this the other day, only seems to happen when the message on the console is alerting me to press harder on the brake to activate start/stop. Gonna see if it happens with start/stop disabled next time I go for a drive.

So glad to hear it's not only me! I also assumed it was so computer rounding thing which shows it differently. Obviously not a big deal, but definitely a weird quirk

I already tried to disable the auto shut off with the button but it's still doing this vibration thing while waiting on red lights ...

Two items: Why does it frequently (not always) ask me if I want to adjust my seat upon start up? Secondly, why does the radio beep when you raise the more than 2 or 3 numbers with a continuous push on the volume control button?
