    4x4 was definitely a help on calcite mine but i'm sure @Sunnier could have done the whole thing in her 2wd. few of us opted not to drive it and just parked our trucks and jumped in with others.

    the whole trip was very newbie friendly (myself being one of the newbies). this was my first trip and everyone was very supportive and helpful.

    what a great trip! thank you all!

    a radio! baofeng radio (or other similar) is a must.

    @Sunnier & @sdde4n were giving me pointers over the radio the whole time. the group will also communicate info to people in the rear- directions, tips, and spotting around obstacles
