@Spvrtan , it's looking like just one group. I'd wager we might have 12 tops. That cool with you?

Also, I hope everyone can buy a handheld HAM radio off Amazon in time. They're only ~$35.

so i took days off for this and i'm still down if it doesnt dwindle down to nothing by then...

My only note- i am one of those "thin skinned" ones that needs to avoid the pinstriping if possible (is what it is). If this is not the trip for me i'm fine just let me know...

I think meals are the only detail left. I'll put a call out for final headcount early next week.

Show up, Steve! I can bring "Cyndi" (loppers) so, if we meet some big-branched monster, we can slay it. :angrygirl:

But no worries. Your truck has 4WD, so you can pick a line away from any such creatures. I have had to steer into pinstripes a couple of times, but it's because I have 2WD, so I kind of have to "step" through obstacles, making sure I don't place both front tires into the same trough; so occasionally my zig-zagging is different than y'all who can 4X4 straight on through. We will take good care of you and your truck!!

Yeah, we'll get everyone programmed when we meet; it's a 10 second process-- maybe a minute to demo for new guys, and have you do it a couple times, to make sure you understand the steps. Easy-peasy!

Did you go down into that ditch to the East of that section, Alex? The climb is pretty steep, haha.

Yea, that's pretty rutted, too, but I was talking about this one, haha:

    Capture.jpg

It looks like you were driving in the direction of the red arrow on that single-lane crossover. The blue obstacle is what I was talking about. It's got to be a 35-degree climb at least and maybe steeper. I wanted to try it the last time I was there but I was by myself and had no one to winch to if I got stuck at the bottom. I didn't have lockers at the time either.
