I'll go out, and take a picture. I swear I only have two sensors.

My brain is telling me that you guys have sensors on your drivers side also because you have a V8. I have no exhaust pipe on the drivers side. Only on passenger.

Drivers side. No sensor, and no pipe running down to the back.

At this point I might have a leak at my headers? Hell, I don't know.

Interesting, your y is behind the motor. I've seen V6 with 2 cats so I guess there are different versions.

Good news is you only have 2 sensors, lower cost to replace. Did you actually replace a sensor, or you just got a quote to replace it?

I agree on the two cats, I've got one just below the upstream, and we all see where the downstream is.
I replaced upstream a few years ago(at most 3 years), and and downstream one-ish year ago.

Terminology time. Headers connected to the engine, Y-pipe joins headers to the rest of the exhaust system.

Yes, essentially. "Headers" are more often considered as aftermarket manifolds with individual primary pipes coming off each exhaust port on the head and joining at a collector where it meets the cat. Stock ones are usually just called manifolds, they usually don't have much of a primary piping.

I'm not sure if "Y" is the right word for that pipe joining your left bank to the right bank but I'll call it that lol.

Ah, I see what you're talking about in my head as far as primary piping to each exhast port on the engine. "An individual pipe for each port" look (in my head anyway) thats why my original manifolds just kinda look like a pipe with ports.
