I bet they don’t want to say how to do it, for the same reasons they took it off. It might just be like it was suggested to move the #8 pin into the #3 slot.

Interesting, I just installed my NSV Bar and the light switch panel still says Strobe but the switch does nothing! Pissed about that because the instructions and the website don't mention it being disabled. Wondering how to rewire it back in place if any of you can figure it out.

When your drls turn on the switch should turn them on/off but when headlights turn on then it does nothing

I'm awaiting my light bar to come in. Tundra off-road said he had both gens. Wish I'd known before I ordered at headlight revolution. Kinda wanted the strobe but I guess having control of the drl is good too. I'd like to know if there are any work around to get strobe back also.

has anybody experienced moisture/ condensation in their lightbar? I've had it installed for maybe 2 months and there's already moisture inside?!?! Kinda at a loss for words for a lightbar thats almost 1k. I've already contacted the cust. service and warrant dept. Surely hope they have some answers. I live in Northern California and its rained a little bit, but nothing that would warrant condensation in a product that supposedly rock solid.

Happy to report back that in less than 10 days time frame Jensen at NSV contacted me over the phone, promptly emailed me an overnight FedEx label to return my lightbar to him so the NSV R&D team to troubleshoot and sent me back a replacement under warranty. People will complain about the price tag of this product, which isn't totally out of pocket for those on a budget, but I cant emphasize enough how happy I am so far with it and the customer support provided by NSV as a whole. Thanks Jensen, NSV has earned itself a lifetime customer.

Glad to hear your happy with NSV and that Jensen took good care of you. I like how you tinted the side drl lights amber to match your fogs.

So light bar works great but now my truck won't show when it's in reverse and back up camera and reverse lights won't work! Geez lol. Any help? I'm not real savvy at trouble shooting. Thanks

Check your fuses first. Then check to make sure you have all the wiring connected.

Was checking fuses just now. Cant find any blown under dash or hood . I'll have to tear back apart tonight and look in dash. Only thing I did that I didn't put back exactly as I found was cap on plug behind where trailer brake would be located if I had one. I Have 14 sr5 trd package

Just read in old post that the cap I removed while chasing wires could have bus in it to connect circuits since I have no nav. Ill check after work and report back after re installing cap I left off

Well that's what it was. I didn't notice the pins in the cap. There were no wires coming out and I figured it wasn't that important. Got home put in the truck and just like magic everything working again.

On the 2nd gens, I can confirm that if you put pin 8 in the pin 3 hole, you will have strobe function back. It will disable the DRL function (not when headlights are on, only when DRLs are on), and if you turn your headlight switch to the off position, and hit the lightbar button, the full lightbar will come on without the brights being on. I have no idea if this messes anything else up, reduces the lightbar life expectency, etc. I have been running mine like this for a couple months now without any issues.

Im trying to simplify my nsv lightbar operation. I just want an on/off switch that works independent of the high beams.

I dont want drl, i dont want strobe, or even swipe. I dont want it to flash/strobe when i lock my truck. I dont want to tap into my oem headlight harness or my trailer wiring. (But i am planning pn running a fuse tap to the cigarette circuit)

Ive pulled the nsv loom apart and diagrammed where every wire is going. Fingers crossed i can figure it out and remove the unneeded wires.

Does anyone know which relay the nsv headlight uses? Does it piggyback off a relay from the tundra? Or does it have its own relay in the lightbar itself? Or does it not have a relay at all? Thanks in advance for any insight.

If anyone knows of any threads that may be usedul to do this, fee free to post them below. Wish me luck.

What is the light output of this bar compared to rigid and baja designs. I like the look of it but want to make sure it puts out some good light. I run a 30" rigid pro series in my lower grill and would like to compliment it with the nsv bar.
Side note: the strobe is a must. Glad someone confirmed you can still have that feature

The NSV bar is bright and the functions and fitment are hard to beat. But comparing it to a Rigid or Baja is hard to do. I would say it’s comparable to a 30” or maybe a 40” single row led by Baja or Rigid. The strobe light feature is very nice to have and very bright! I have a Rigid radiance 30” in my bumper and I think the NSV is brighter than the 30” Rigid.

Thanks for the real world answer. My rigid is a 30" pro version but throws a ton of light. This may be my next lighting upgrade after it finish up the 2019 pro lights.

Putting the NSV Light bar in your tundra paired with a lower grille-mounted light bar would be a very impressive combination. The nice thing about the NSV is how sleek the install is, fitting right in the hood scoop insert. It also makes it 100% Anti-theft which is very comforting!

Will the NSV bulge light fit a 2019 Tundra?
