    Hello all,

I am a Military Vet and have a few guns/weapons and will always 100% support our 2nd Amendment!

With that said, I'm an ole goat and have always thought of joining the NRA but never did but with this latest BS going on with these gun control movements and the snowflake generation, I almost feel the need to join!

I don't want to offend anyone with my above comments but thats just my feeling!

I am first and foremost a 100% Patriot for this great country and have nor ever will stop loving it!

I always have and always will stand by God, Family and Country!

I'de like to see how many are NRA members and what opinions are of joining!

    Thanks

Awesome, I may just join and I’m glad here in Texas they allowed open carry option if needed!

I have had my CC since Texas started it and prefer CC over OC, I like having the surprise advantage!

Exactly, gotta keep the dumbass's guessing. I was a regular member for about 6 yrs, then they had a special on the lifetime membership. It's regular $1500 I joined for $600. Just give them a call and ask about the $600 lifetime membership and they'll give it to you for that price.

I’m not interested in becoming a member but the”snowflake” generation can playCall of Duty and all the other heftily violent games but when their generation wrecks something then their snowflakes melting couldn’t interest me less

I have a good friend that blew his hand off when he was 16 with a pipe bomb and he’s still an NRA member that supports weapons to protect us from the govt

I recently upped my NRA membership to Life status. Waiting for my grandkids to get old enough so I can straighten them out from all the anti gun/NRA crap they get at school.

Not a member. I do belong to the GOA and Rocky Mountain Gun Owners (RMGO). I think of joining the NRA for the same reasons but I don't like the direction the NRA is going; I don't see 'em stand up enough for our rights . . . lately. They are losing the media war IMO.

I've noticed this a lot.. the NRA is definitely giving the media the edge by giving in to certain aspects. Its all fluff though, as much as they want to ban features- there will be workarounds and violence will continue (unfortunately). I'd like to see the crisis actors attempt to disarm the american public.

Yep. Now FL is looking to pass a law that you must perform a background check to buy ammo . . . WTF?? Where's the outrage from the NRA and gun owners in general?? I want to see an organization with teeth before I become a member

The NRA is THE oldest civil right organization in the US. I don't represent the NRA. The NRA represents me and millions more to protect our rights as covered under the 2nd Amendment.. PERIOD!!

Since the Parkland High School shooting NRA membership shot up 4900%!! NRA needs money to fight the anti gun lobby and news media anti 2nd Amendment juggernaut that's happening now. Don't worry..the NRA is good about overcoming these kinds of obstacles. Costs a lot of $$$ to fight back.

Not a member.....YET....but will be SOON .....I CC most everywhere I go.....I could go on....and on.....and on.....How our 2nd amendment is CRUCIAL to all U.S. citizens ......but I don't have enough time right at this minute to elaborate.......Good Morales......Patriotism....have been slowly disappearing. More and more devices like cell phones...tablets....computers ...have taken the place of face to face real interaction amongst ourselves....What happened to playing ball in the park ....going to summer camp. ....real "Road Vacations" with the whole family- WITHOUT ELECTRONIC DEVICES ???.....We are all guilty to some degree......Anyway....I will fight for my right to my weapons till the day I DIE !!!!......My point with the social media rant is that we have become more and more disconnected to real valuable face to face interaction with our family and friends....which I believe is Crucial to making a point when trying to convey a message to someone that you feel very passionate about......such as the RIGHT TO BARE ARMS !!!

Do you have a link for that background ammo check proposal?

I believe you are referring to the proposal By Florida congresswoman Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz, if so this is Federal not just Florida. it was just introduced yesterday...so give the NRA a little time.

California is enacting a similar law State wide, and has been legally challenged by the NRA.

Without the NRA, we would have lost our rights decades ago. Thank God for them!
