Looking at everyones recent posts is making the wait worse, lol. Those aluminums are looking good. Hoping my 10" stainless will ship this week. Excited to see those sound clips.

Cement, let's hear a post drive analysis.

 

Did about 25 miles with some freeway and streets. It doesn't exactly as advertised on the website lol. That nice low end rumble leaving the stop light then it will make all the noise you want it to if you keep your foot in it haha once you ease up on the throttle and get into lock out, this thing got super quiet. I was actually pleasantly surprised how quiet it did get once in the lock out going roughly 40-45mph on the street. Once on the freeway I let it rip and man it's nice, I can just see the future with my gas going down way more quickly cause you just want to keep hearing it. Once I got off it and got down to cruising around 60mph I did notice the slight drone *I do not have the resonator in* I'm not sure if it ever locked out or not on that speed but I kept hearing it. I bumped up to 65 and I think it went away. My drive on the freeway was too short with traffic here and there. Perks of living in California. Overall I am satisfied with the sound and noise. 8" was perfect for what I was going for since it is not too loud and can still get quiet. Super stoked on it.

 

Guessing you meant that it does perform exactly like the website, not doesn't?

I’m running without resonator as well since install Saturday. I notice the drone when cruising flat and slowing enough to drop below 2,000 RPM. For reference 75 mph in 6th is right at 2k for me. I’ll definitely be installing the resonator this weekend. Cold start in the mornings is my favorite! That sound will never get old

 

I think that's what it was for me too. The road was pretty flat and sitting around that 2k. If I get over it I'll add it in for now I'll let it be.

 

Mine arrives tomorrow. I really hope to get some lost torque back by ditching the TRD exhaust.

 

My wife just text me saying the exhaust just showed up. I may have taken off work tomorrow. Lol.

 

Mine showed up about 2 hours ago.

I couldn't wait any longer. I had about an hour before rain started settling in and I wanted to hear this thing on a cold startup tomorrow.

Install couldn't have been easier. Only hiccup was my gasket was to toast. It was completely designated so the included one came in handy. I'll install the responsib tomorrow afternoon. So far, I'm super stoked that I didn't miss out on the group buy.

Wow I like the sound of that. I can't wait to get my 8 installed. My 6 is a bit louder but the 8 seems to have a deeper, less raspy tone to it. Thanks for posting this

Exhaust was delivered today. Got home from work at around 1030 and got at it. Was done by 1105. Easy teardown and install. No vids yet, have to be up early for work. The test drive was great sound is deep and not too loud (8" system). Overall I'm very happy with it. Sounds much better that the stock pro exhaust

 

You install the resonator?

 

I'm going to this afternoon. There is some additional drone compared to stock when I'm cruising. I'll update this afternoon after install. It's basically silent at a stop light but comes to life with a little pedal pressure.

 

Just got tracking info!

 

Got tracking info on Tuesday, was supposed to be here today. I’ve been pumped all week. Then I get an email from fedex a little bit ago saying delivery is delayed until Monday
