Just talked to Keith looks like I'll be going with the 8". Forgot to ask him but does anyone know if there is a big difference between the aluminum or steel?

If you live where they salt the roads in the winter or your truck visits salt water frequently the stainless steel would be the better option

If you live an area with snow where they salt the roads, or a beach area, you’re going to want to go with stainless. I live in south Louisiana. What is snow? Lol. So I went with aluminum.

Lol same here.. though I am afraid to jinx it now. I had not seen snow here since I was about 6, until I decided to book a flight last december.. the one day it actually snowed and the N.O. airport shutdown with frozen runways :(

Buy a quality metal 2” hole saw bit and use a power drill. Looks like most run $5 to $15 at any hardware store.

If you don’t have an electric drill, you probably shouldn’t be wrenching on your truck. If you ask around you can probably trade the install for some tax prep or something.

Ehh even so, they don’t salt roads down here. They throw river sand on it lol. Even so, once every 5 years even if it does see salted roads it won’t make a bit of difference

I’ve driven Tundras with the TRD exhaust and owned the 8 and 12 inch BAM. I felt the TRD was the loudest of the 3 on the inside (when running the resonator on the BAMs). Outside the BAMs are louder and have a crisper sound than TRD.

    Flux capacitor!
Sadly my Dirty Deeds full 3” race exhaust doesn’t qualify for this group buy. :(

I talked to Keith’s guys and my cats for my 3” mid pipes should ship out tomorrow! The next step is my 3” full race exhaust!! I can’t wait to have the 50 HP and 89 pounds of torque in gains! :)This is only possible with having the long tube headers and a full 3” dual exhaust.

Keith and his guys are very helpful and they know their stuff.

I'm in NOLA and also went with aluminum. Doubt that will be a problem in the future.

Try me in a couple of hours? I had to step out of the office around 3 yesterday. Phones forwarded to Gloria but not all make it if volume is high. 760-877-4234

Also, text if phones don’t work. I’ll start responding to them here in a few as well.

Not so fast......imagine the workload he’s taking on, also covering the discount and shipping costs, he’s earning every bit of what he has coming to him, one of the most humble and knowledgeable guys I ever had the pleasure of speaking to. And as a fellow small business owner, I’m truly happy of how this gb turned out for him. :woot:

Do u guys know if adding the resonator changes the sound at all, or does it just remove the drone..I forgot to ask Keith..

The point of it, is to remove the drone from inside the cab. IMO it does kill drone and also quiet things down a bit but doesn't change the tone. from my experience that just goes for what you hear inside the cab, it's still mean and perfectly loud from the outside.
The beauty of these systems is that you can run it without the resonators and see how you like it. If you wanna tone it down or eliminate any drone throw the resonator on. Them if you ever wanna go back you can take the resonator off and put a blockoff plate on.
