@pizzabud I cut mine there with my 8”. I have his resonator installed and it got much louder. If you are sensitive I would say don’t cut it.

 

Already pulled trigger on Ultra Gauge. This is the only one I having trouble pulling the trigger on.

8" would be what you want from my research. Unless you tow frequently then 10

 

When my new 8" shows up, I'll have my pick, I have a 6" on the truck now

Oh he will get back to you. Best customer service I have ever come across.
I have a nearly one year old 6". I talked to him today and said it's kinda loud for me. He said send it back, no questions, full refund, he wants me to be happy. The guy guarantees the sound of his exhaust, yes the sound. Even if we base it on audio clips on YouTube. You won't find a better guy with more pride in his work. Oh and he actually helped save me money on shipping my 6" back by talking me through some reasons mu exhaust may be too loud and offered solutions, free solutions. I was driving while talking to him via the bluetooth and he was able to diagnose my problem from what he heard over the phone. So I figured since he went through all that trouble for me today....I ordered an 8" to see how I like it. I'll keep one and sell one.

 

That’s absolutely ludicrous. That right there is why this group buy is blowing up!

 

So if anyone gets their exhaust from this group buy and wishes they got louder pt quieter, and they can't find a trade. They can call Keith and trade it in, straight up, for the one they want (does not include shipping costs). That right there is standing by your work.

 

Yeah I’m leaning toward the 10 due to the towing. The 12 may be just borderline too quiet for paying for an aftermarket exhaust. This is my road trip vehicle with two kids, so just trying to keep it throaty but nothing over the top. I have a SxS that I tow around.

I figured just a quick convo with Keith is all I need just to make sure. I’m excited though. Nothing beats a hand made custom exhaust from a guy who enjoys doing it.

We are at 42 now fellas. Needed 15 and got 42 so far! Let’s get to 50!

Couldn’t agree more. Never thought i’d Have $5k in aftermarket mods on a truck with 2,500 miles... but here we are.

 

Does anyone know how the resonator works? Again, this is probably a question for Keith and I’ll get to it, I’ve just seen people taking hole saws to their exhaust and my guess it was for the resonator. I don’t really want to cut on a new exhaust. Can it be installed by Keith from the factory?

 

Resonator is indeed why we drill the hole in the tailpipe. You drill that hole, then clamp the resonator on, it absorbs any drone noise, and it REALLY works well. For some kits br can install as part of the kit, but those are race kits, wont work for these types that we are buying. Dont worry about drilling the hole. Its easy with the right drill bit, and you can get a cover plate for it if you wanna reverse it at any time.

I know it’s not needed, but I’ll be adding high temp copper RTV to the resonator before I clamp it.

 

I have a toddler now, and a baby on the way... Come on man priorities....

 

I would know. She enjoyed the boxer rumble from my WRX which I still own.

But I think the 8" would be perfect for putting the baby to sleep. Make sure you pop in the resonator.. don't want the drone to wake the baby

 

The drone might put the baby to deep sleep...

We have an air cleaner in my baby's room now and it kinda drones... She sleeps well

This is the only part of the install I’m worried about. I don’t have a saw or plasma cutter, I’m an accountant! Haha.

 

I will vouch for Keith and his company. Spoke to Gloria today and my exhaust is paid in full. Great customer service! I had requested that I would get notified of shipping because of recent thefts of packages in our neighborhood. I was told they ship on Friday, and I would get a call letting me know about it. Can’t wait too get this on.
