Just took my 2019 Pro in for it’s 5000 mile complimentary service today. When I signed the paperwork the service advisor told me “ we did x,y,z, and we changed the oil and filter. I was surprised because according to the maintenance schedule I looked at the oil and filter should be changed every 10,000 miles (7500 if severe service). When I told him this, he said “Well, you bought this truck with a lifetime power train warranty so we’re changing the oil every 5000 miles”. Thoughts?

If it’s an FFV engine, then oil changes are due every 5,000 miles.
