I have a 2011 Tundra about a month ago I drove my truck to the school and back home were it was parked for the day. Late that same afternoon came back my truck would not start. Hooked it up to the scanner and nothing it was not communicating to the ECU no check engine light on but would not start. Worked on it for a day and it has been sitting for almost a month. Went out yesterday to try my luck and it started with the check engine light on. My truck is normally loud but I could barely hear it running when I tapped the gas it sounded like a burst of air came out before it would rev up after about 1 hour it died again ANY IDEAS? I have read a lot about possible secondary air pump but only code it showed yesterday was a break light switch and the trac control light was on. Help please if you have any ideas need my truck for work

If the Check Engine Light is on, there will be codes set. You'll need to get and share those otherwise there is no starting point and everyone would simply be making random guesses.

Where is the mass air flow sensor located on the truck ? Is it at the air box top of the air cleaner top housing ? If so check cold air piping from box to intake minifold , make sure it isn’t cracked or broken . Also what is the fuel pressure ?

Gas yes clean air filter mass air flow sensor good only code is brake light sensor. No vacuum leaks could it possibly be the secondary air pump??? If I cannot fix it I am going to take it to a Machanic shop just thought someone could have possibly been through this and would have a definitive answer

If it were the secondary air pump, it would still start and run. You'd have way more lights lit on your dash though, and more codes.

Shot it the dark here, and I don't remember if this is something I've actually read on here or making up in my mind, but don't brake light issues throw the truck into limp mode? Can you troubleshoot the brake light sensor error and see what happens?
