    Last night I was drinking a good whiskey and "discussing" getting my one ton pulled all over by a Tundra. When I seen that I sprayed my oldest daughter and all her homework with a light whiskey spray.

    Hope her teacher doesn't think she drinks while doing homework. Lol

    All about Traction. One can have 1500HP and 2000 ft lbs tq and if you can't put it to the ground, it is worthless.

    A true tug of war, after the go is given, the person that pulls the other vehicle a pre-determined distance wins. If the brakes are hit before the distance is made, that person loses.

    I have seen a Jeep pull a full sized Ford all over. Gearing, traction and limiting wheel speed is key.
    Pulling a diesel is tricky. If you come on the boost to early, your done.

    There was a little back story on this. One guy was talking some major shit, and he got tugged all over the place. A dick move for sure.

    Again, this proves one person had more traction than another.

    A few of us on another site took some guy up on some shit talking and gave him a lesson in towing: gas vs diesel up Floyd Hill going west bound out of Denver on I-70 with 10k lbs.

    His truck: 01 dodge 3/4 ton V10, 5 spd and lower gears. I can't remember what he had installed. He had no towing experience with any weight more than 5k lbs.

    My truck, 02 Dodge, 3/4 ton, 6 spd, new 40 hp injectors.

    Trailer was mine, 22' with a 01 dodge 2500 diesel on it. Scaled 10200 lbs.

    We took my truck up first, coming out at the base of I70/470. I hit 6th gear and held 10-15 mph over the speed limit the whole way with plenty of throttle left. So I was going up to 75 mph.

    We got on I70 and redlined that V10 and was able to get a maximum speed up Floyd Hill was 30 mph at one point, but most of it was 20-25 mph mashed to the floor.

    He still wouldn't stop talking shit. He proceeded to suggest a SC for his V10. I was like "go ahead, still stomp a mud hole in your ass up this hill".

    That was funny, since that truck was rated at 245hp plus 40 (injectors are rated at the wheels) and 505 tq (600 with the injectors). Today's diesels are 10 times the trucks of 15 years ago.
