Norwall Power Systems - Generac Generators

Hey group,

Anyone ever buy a generator from Norwall? Any idea if they have a discount program? I’ve been waiting and putting it off on pulling the trigger on a whole home generator, but the wife just gave the green light.

I’m ready to buy, but man it’s tough pushing the buy button since it’s a $4,700 nut.

Any feedback would be great!

 

No experience on the residential side, but I have some on the commercial/business side. Biggest thing is to find a generator that people in your area can service and obtain parts for. We have a Generac at work. We should have put in a CAT. There are no Generac service providers in our area. We ran into an issue where fuel was leaking from a coupling and the local generator service people (a CAT dealer) could not order the part. We had to shut down the backup generator while we scheduled someone from 3 hours away to order the part and install it. Of course because we were so far from them, they charged us a crazy amount of money and put us on in the back of the list. So, in the middle of hurricane season, we had no generator backup.
