    Started building front bumper, skid plate for the radiator...

    Going to tie into the upper portion and winch mount once I build it.

    Gussets for winch, ground them down then covered em with 3/16th diamond tread steel plate.

    Made a new shift knob... don't like it need one smaller in diameter and I got off a little on the threads

    How I got to where I was...

    Fired up the furnace... melted some left over aluminum.

    Pour it into a small pipe with a cut in it

    Knock it out of the pipe..

    Turn it down on the lathe and you have a shift knob.

    Probably going to take it off there and turn it down to a smaller diameter or just start over with a smaller casting later on.

    Beginning slider build..

    DOM tubing should be in Monday and I will weld it all up.

    Everything is 0.25 thick except the diamond tread which is 1/8th. Round is hard to step on so I decided to go with a hybrid square and round tubing with some diamond tread steel for steps.

    Pretty cool looking I think... gotta finish mounting brackets final grind paint and weld to frame.

    Slider clamped on... playing in the snow a little. Next chance I get I will finish the mounts and paint.

    Sliders primed, think I will stick with white on them... it's growing on me.

    Took the bed liner out... no rust at all just need to power wash the dirt out in the spring.
