    What should I look at in regards to sliders? Certain features, size, style? I’ve seen simple ones that are straight bars and other that double as a step

    Caster= 3.2* L, 3.5* R
    Toe= 1/16" L&R
    SAI= 10.3* L, 10.5* R (This SAI, was never measured, adjusted, or recorded the last 3 alignments, its the angle between upper and lower ball joints.) The wheel feels more "solid", not loose side to side. No more drift to right. I can take my hands off the wheel while going down the freeway with out drifting!

    I may have to give them a try. How much $? How long did it take them?

    Thanks, Mike

    My truck was 279.00 for alignment. On the high end due to adjustable UCA. I just left the truck with them for the day.

    They all double as a step when it comes down to it. I like the way the All Pros are tilted slightly up. You get slightly more clearance and it doesn't lower the appearance of the truck.
    Wall thickness and material are considerations. DOM (Drawn over mandrel) is stronger I think.

    Read all about it: http://www.jbaheaders.com/feature_pages/07tundra.asp

    :: 2007-2016 Toyota Tundra 5.7L Headers ::
    Over the years,Toyota trucks have grown in size and performance to go head-to-head with the best Detroit has to offer. With the Tundra equipped with class leading and cutting-edge features, it's no wonder they are popular with enthusiasts. The all new '07-'15 Tundra is no different. But just like Toyota, JBA believes in taking something good and making it better. Specifically, the high-tech 5.7L 4.7L and 4.6L engines in these trucks. The factory exhaust manifolds and exhaust systems are restrictive and have inefficient designs that keep the engine from reaching it's maximum potential. Our engineers designed matched performance headers and cat-back systems that open up the exhaust flow with a powerful, but not offensive sound. Low-end torque and high RPM peak power are greatly improved for wide open performance. These components feature "bullet-proof" construction and JBA's patented technology for long lasting performance and reliability. Nothing else comes close. Power, sound and quality - JBA has it all.

    So just the short tubes are legal? I don't know if there's enough performance gain there to make it financially viable.

    I’ve seen every slider now and I might be a little bias but SDHQ sliders are the best. Complete bolt on, no drilling, chrome moly metal, mounts in front at cab mount, mounts wrap around the frame, and no exposed bolts, especially on bottom of the frame. Only drawback is the length. It’s about 6” too short and doesn’t go all the way to the rear wheel.

    This is what happens when I have half a drink and read the forums.

    Long-tubes are great at low rpm range - like we need more of that. The shorty would help the upper rpm range and have the sound we all look for.
