Just a few things to start with:
    1) It came with a plastic bed liner and I don't like these. I will see if my son wants it (he has a 2009 Tundra) and then get the bed coated with Line-X.
    2) I need a set of tube steps, not sure whether to go with OEM accessories or after market. I want black.
    3) I need to get all weather molded mats for front rear. Probably go with the Toyota ones.

That's basically all I did with my 2006 Tundra (that will go to my daughter this Saturday - she is SO excited). I did install Denali D4 LED spot/flood driving lights on the 2006 (amazing improvement) but I don't see a need on the 2018 with LED headlights (very bright).

    nice start.
    1-line x is very nice!
2-have you ever thought about sliders? @jlee has hit the green light for design/production of BAMF sliders.
3-weather tech or husky would be a better choice as they really cover and cup the floor well.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just ordered a set of black molded weather tech floor mats, they look real good. We have a small 3 acre farm here and you never know what will be on the bottom of our shoes from day to day. The Line-X on my 2006 is bullet proof, I've hauled lumber, gravel, fencing, etc. and no damage whatsoever.

I'll check into the sliders. Does @jlee have a catalog?

Make sure you request for the velcro for passenger side, they tend to slip. Husky has the spikes that keep them still.
I have the Weathertechs with the velcro and no issues.

@Bergmen Also, consider the sliders as they might be overkill for what you need.. They do protect your truck from shopping carts and door dings as well.

I probably should mind my own business, but:
Husky Coutour Xact or Weatherbeaters won't slip on the passenger side like Weathertechs do. And don't need double sided tape or Velcro. People seem to like Weathertechs as well as Huskys for the rear floor, but for the front, consider changing your order to one of the Husky options, before they ship. Lotta info on this forum covering this. A few members love their Weathertechs, but most go for the Husky because there's no downside....

I actually ended up ordering the Husky WeatherBeaters (F/R), not the Weathertechs.

I was up in Sacramento, specifically the Roseville area today, and that’s where all the Tundras hang out LOL. Being down in the Dixon area every other truck is either a Ford or Dodge, with the exception to Tacoma’s. I saw atleast 5 Tundras around downtown Roseville alone.

Although one really nice lifted all white one drove by my house earlier.
