Hahaha. I remember Starry Night. I never went there, but did go to Copper Penny a few times though. Starry Night was a scandle back in the day. Below is Wiki...
    Starry Night
Larry Hurwitz owned and operated the Starry Night nightclub in the building from 1982 through 1991.[9] The venue had a capacity of less than 1,000 people.[10] In the 1980s, the Starry Night hosted musical acts including Animotion, Nu Shooz,[10] and the Crazy 8s.[11] Hurwitz sold the Starry Night in February 1991, claiming he had "lost the support of the local music industry".[10][12] The transfer in ownership resulted in a name change to Roseland Theater. In 1992, Roseland's manager for the new owners, Oregon Theater Management, said the name was changed to disassociate from Hurwitz's business and reputation.[12]

    Murder of Starry Night employee
In 2000, Hurwitz was convicted of the murder 10 years earlier of the Starry Night's 21-year-old publicity agent, Timothy Moreau, to keep Moreau from alerting authorities to a counterfeit ticket scam at the club.[13] Another club employee, George Castagnola, pleaded guilty to helping Hurwitz kill Moreau.[14] Moreau was strangled in the theater after a John Lee Hooker concert.[10] After selling the club, Hurwitz moved to Vietnam,[14] but in 1997 a federal grand jury indicted him on charges of tax evasion related to the scam.[15][16][17] Extradited to the United States and pleading guilty to the tax evasion charges, he was sentenced to a year in federal prison.[14][18] Publicity generated by the tax-evasion trial led to new information about the murder.[18] Hurwitz was sentenced to 11 years in prison after pleading no contest to one count of murder in 2000, and released in 2008 after serving between 7 and 8 years.[14] Meanwhile, to settle a civil wrongful-death suit filed against him by Moreau's parents, Hurwitz in 2001 stipulated to his part in the murder, agreed that a jury would have found him guilty if he had not pleaded "no contest", and agreed to pay the Moreau family US$3 million in damages.[19] The details of the case were reported in a 23-part series in the newspaper PDXS during the 1990s.[20]

Any buddy tracking this next round of snow? I don’t have cable so no news for me. However, my phone keeps dropping temps and adding percentages for snow along with days.

I was supposed to be heading to Gresham starting tonight but they decided to pause that move for 3 weeks while doing classes. Looks like I may be extremely lucky now. 12 miles to work is better then 26 when all hell breaks lose around here.

Also not watching the game today. Any cool commercials?

This is what mine keeps saying... I’m at 1000 ft elevation though. Thankfully I don’t have to cross the bridge.

    George,
Here in NW Oregon the forcast, is for snow to begin hitting around Wednesday morning with an accumulation of 25” over the next 4 days. How widespread this forcast will hold accuracy depends a lot on elevation and geographic elements like mountains and valleys

Wow! We will probably get some then. I figured with that amount of days something would happen. We aren’t that high at my house but live about half way up a pretty big peak. Last round brought us 1-2”. Of course lots of it depends on what happens with temp when it starts and all kinds of other stuff.
    Our forecast looks like this.

Yeah- I'm more worried about the wet roads freezing. That, and the ass-hats in SUVs that think they can drive the hills when they are glazed ice.

Weather forecasts are only accurate about 50% , 9 days out.
This pending storm prediction has gone from 25” of snow to 12”, to 19”.
I am looking forward to the storm but keeping my expectations low, lol!

Got my 4” Iconic Nerf bars on the truck. They look great, work great and they were only $200. Took about an hour to install by myself. Pretty sweet

I have filled up at that exact gas station SOOOOO many times in my life! It has been the requisite stop enroute to/from my home here to my childhood home in N. Idaho since I moved here. I actually think I could make it at least to Spokane or Coeur d'Alene now with my 38-gallon tank, but I'll likely still be stopping there just because!

It's starting to snow now, blowing in from the east which is odd, 16° over here. How's the Puget sound looking?

That's an insane jump in cat thefts!

I got one last year when I started hearing about CAT thefts going up. It does leave the rear CATs a little exposed (more on the passenger side) but it makes it harder to make the 2 cuts to remove it.

I did, after my brother had his stolen a couple months back. It’s a 10 minute install. Called Keith at DE paid for it via PayPal and it was at my door 4 days later. I bought some security bolts from Tacoma screw for mine and slightly modified it to work with my RCI skid.

Is there plenty of gaps for air to get in and circulate? It looks good, but pics are hard to tell. Cats get hot...
