500 miles in the truck since Wednesday. Not a fun drive either. I need a beer.

LOL - well, around 12:30, our shop superintendent and I had to go double check that the new keg in the tap room was hooked up right. But then we had to go back to actually doing something until about 4:30.

Heading out the door in a few...was waiting for my 3D print to finish.

Yeah - a beer at lunch and a slow-sipped DJ just now. All good. Hitting the grocery store and the hardware store on my way home to get stuff for dinner and stuff for finishing up my kitchen shelves this weekend. The shop got the corner brackets welded up for me.

Catch you guys on the flip side!

We got a Flat Iron substituted for a flank steak a few weeks ago. That's a nice cut of meat...gotta experiment with it some more.

I've got to go low and slow with my drinking for another 3hrs....on a customer call....dang it

Think the chef decided to pound out some chicken breast and roll up with an jalapeño-artichoke dip we got at the store....that's if I didn't eat too much of the dip an hour ago.

Normally I'm "Eff-U at 2pm" on Fridays, but this is worth it. I'll bust all week, but the weekends are mine.

I can take it as comp time. I'll roll in a few more hours in next week and then take a mid-week day off. Already talking to a buddy about meeting in the hills for the day.

My wife is trying to do 52 hikes this year. So once a week it has changed our weekends. Seems to work mentality also. I work a physical and mentally strained job 6 days a week. On average i travel 6 miles a day at work per my smart watch and phone, I run a bunch of different crafts at work to meet schedules. With her goal at least i am not thinking about work all day like i was doing before this challenge. So we are going long beach tomorrow to drive around on the beach a hike and surf fish.
    See you guys there.

We will see how long this lasts.

Dude, I love that goal. Thought I saw a challenge like "Spend a 1,000hrs outside in '21" online the other day and thought that looked cool...

We did a 3.5 mile walk this morning that was just over 10,000 steps on my phone. I need to do more of those...

That’s not really bad, only 2.75 hours a day.
I’m trying to walk 2 miles every day. Sometimes it’s only 1.5. Usually I miss 1 or 2 days a week. The clinic where I am getting physical therapy is 2 miles from home. I walk there and back on Thursday mornings. Absolutely love walking in the rain, fog, mist, drizzle! After working outdoors in the southwest for 40 years, I pretty much detest sunshine, lol

Working from home has been great, but many days I get almost no exercise. No bueno. Trying to improve on that, but this time of year it can be hard. But gotta do it, right!

Walked about 10,000 steps today just back and forth from my basement to my truck and all around my truck. But my bed lights are installed, my power tailgate lock is installed, and I'm working on my switch panel for the anytime camera mod.

You’re gonna love the tailgate lock!
I didn’t even add the mileage I put on working around the place and in my shop; fencing, cleaning up storm debris, pruning trees, preparing for the spring garden, etc.

Going steelhead fishing tomorrow on the Wilson, setting here sipping on some scotch while I tie up some egg loop leaders.

I want to add bed lights underneath my tonneau cover. Keep forgetting about doing that until like today with early leaving and fishing.

Happy Monday gents. Make it a good one!

I have another late night call tonight, but it should be the last with this customer for now. Kinda sucks with the kids being off today, but such is life. Think the wife and I are headed to Costco this afternoon to restock the fridge, so they’ll be happy when we let them watch TV earlier than normal.
