Hey what’s going on everyone. Been working 6 10’s the last three or 4 weeks so haven’t been on much. For all you WA guys hope this smoke doesn’t hit you guys as hard as it is us. It’s crazy I also have seen places shutting down due to smoke...then I look outside and sure enough the guys doing my siding are working. I was ready for that to get pushed back but nope they are out there busting their asses. I would recommend avoiding it if you can though. Also grab yourself a new HVAC filter so you can swap it when this over.
Hope you guys have a good weekend. I am definitely ready for mine!! Only two more nights and I’m there.

Looks like we’re gonna be opening the guesthouse for some displaced evacuees and making room for a camper or two

We are prepared for family as well. My brother has been lucky enough to be only level 1 for the last few days. It was looking dangerously close for a while. I haven’t checked in yet today but last night they were optimistic the two fires were going to merge together. I guess that was a good scenario for them. At one point they pulled all the fire fighters because it was to dangerous.

Congrats! I never have leased a vehicle, but given my track record for a new rig every 3-4 years I should have.

I offered up my driveway to a buddy as well. Thankfully the winds shifted and blew it away from him. Crazy time.

Very thankful you all are safe...

Im leasing this one. I didn’t go into it thinking that but it happened. I guess I’ll see how it plays out in about 18 months.

I end up getting a new vehicle every couple years anyway. Trying to keep this one for a lot longer. I should be a few grand below market value for purchase at the end. If not I’ll pick something else. I wanted a TRD Pro Sequoia but they weren’t out yet.

I hope everyone is safe as well.

My parents have 5 RVs on their farm plus an additional 30 animals. It's been a nightmare. My sister was evac'd from Molalla. These others, the fires were fairly close to them in that same area. My aunt evac'd to another property from the santiam canyon.

My other aunt lives in Lincoln City, and it got really close to them going as well. Scary time this week not knowing what's going on

Hope everyone is doing well. The smoke here in Spokane is pretty bad. Worse than I have ever seen in years past. I saw the air quality index up to 488 tonight.

It doesnt look good for Estacada, Colton is getting it from multiple directions. Soon Hwy 211 will be cut off. It s creeping up on Molalla too. Unfortunately, I think the weather is their only hope.

Good morning gents. Just attended church online. Still a very strange experience.

Our air is much worse visually. It looks like we are fogged in. But the sensors continue to show an improvement. Think I need to look into how the value is calculated...very curious

Just got home from a long weekend camping up the White River, east of Stevens Pass. We had a great weekend, pretty clear until the smoke rolled in heavy last night. 20200911_110021.jpg

Beautiful. We almost went camping at Lake Wenatchee, but figured the smoke would be bad. Glad it was decent for you guys.

Thanks man, yeah it was a gamble.
We probably wouldn't of camped this weekend but we were heading to that area anyway, my grandpa's 88th B-day party.

I ve been checking moisture content in the air in my area, because that s a game changer. Yesterday it was dry, but a wall of moisture was traveling down from the north. Today it s much different. If you go here, and turn off all toggles, and turn on only the, "Show WATER VAPOR satellite imagery" switch, it will show you the moisture content in the air. Today half of the evacuation areas are covered.

Nope. I’ve always thought that stuff was a waste of money. We don't really get vehicle rot on the left coast.

You leased the vehicle; do the minimum required maintenance and only buy mods you can uninstall and resell after you return the truck. Just my opinion...

We just had a little shower and the smoke has abated substantially. It’s good to be able to open a few windows and get some fresh air.

I took a trip to Whidbey Island for a few days and it rained on the drive up to the island. I wanted to pull over on the highway, strip neked and run around.

Our rain didn’t do chit to clear the air, but happy to hear you are getting some relief. How’s the “Gosolo Communal” coming along?

Tuesday Vacations are great...What started as heavy fog has slowly burned off. Unfortunately the thick white cloud is being replaced by a dirty brown cloud, so I think we've returned to the bad air view...

I commend them for that. I work indoors, in an office setting just a few miles south and I'm choking on the smoke in here.
