    Looks Great 'Solo..
nice piece of heaven you got there.

diggin' the rain cistern... that would be perfect for my garden.
    How many gallons?
Did you install it or did it come with the property?
any info about it would be nice.

I've been working hard in my garden during the stop work order.
Increased it by another 3rd this year.

It’s a 1,000 gallon tank, cast off from a job, previously used for collection of condensate water.
Got it hooked up this week. Will probably permanently place a little 120v sump pump piped internally to one of the fittings. For now, it’s just a bottom, gravity drain.

Wife wanted some mulch for our beds, so 20 cu yds were delivered. I picked up my cart to help with moving as the back of the yard is 100 ft away. My electric mower works great for the moving task. I’m getting too old for wheelbarrowing. Deer have always been nibbling on flowers, but it looks like the elk visited the other day and ate the flowers in the patio pots. Just got my coffee. I get mine at the hospital. Starbucks, not so bad. Supposed to be off around 2 today. Hoping to get off and get some yard work done. Supposed to cool off this weekend, back to 50s. Got 70 yesterday. Should be about same or more today. Hope work goes well for you!

LOL. If you are still social distancing, then you don’t qualify for the asswad gang. Gotta do both.

Why mobile? Just so you can move it around the property?

Yeah, free range chickens need less feed if they have fresh grass and insects. We sell eggs. So far I haven’t spent a nickel on this set up.
This way I can keep em safe from predators and in control everywhere on the property.

Morning...or afternoon which ever. Graveyard guy so it’s my morning.
Anyway I’ve been slowly attacking a huge landscape project over the last 6 weeks and finally have enough dry days in a row to get over the prep work. Renting a huge rototiller on Tuesday and if I can get it lined up maybe a tracked skid steer and a 10yd dumpster on Tuesday.
Decided to take tomorrow night off. If I have to replace windows 3 nights this week I’m going to go freaking crazy. Hope you all have a good Easter Sunday.

Took a 5 mile, 10 minute drive to resupply on bagels. Then took the 40 mile, 60 minute back roads to get home. Seems like half the cars I passed were just out for a cruise too. Down to 50 miles to empty on the tank...almost there.

What are you guys doing this weekend? My OCD isn't happy that my calendar is wide open until "Church - online" Sunday morning. I enjoy having a lazy day here or there and I need a day in my garage every few weeks to clear my head...but this is crazy. I think I'm at "organize the old paint" on my garage to-do list.

Had to hose down the truck this afternoon. Some of the pollen had gotten so heavy/think that it slid off the fresh wax. W.da.F! I ended up washing off the front walkway and driveway. The water looked like urine...We put A/C in the house about 5 years ago. I've never handled heat very well, so it was a strategic play so I can sleep during the summer months. But between this year and last year, it's paid for itself so we don't have to have the windows open to cool down the house.

So I'm a donut fiend and in need of a fix. We have basically three options here in the Seattle area. The grocery stores, a very few "mom and pop" joints and Top Pot. I might have to break down and hit Crispy Cream tomorrow just for something new. Any recommendations around here?

If you get to the south side (Tacoma) Legendary Doughnuts on 6th Ave (East end of 6th near downtown) is like Voodoo donuts in Portland minus all the tattoos, gauges and piercings. Excellent. Very elaborate. My favorite is a mom and pop Pao’s (this time on the west end of 6th). Cash only at Pao’s. Best simple donuts.

It’s called a broadfork, for manually turning the dirt.
