Someone selling rockwarriors in portland with some decent tread: https://offerup.co/FjtVkJXZPwb

Gen2.5 Alloys seem to go for about 200$ a set on offerup in this area (bought and sold some myself), similar for the Gen2 alloys, both of which are about 30lbs which is pretty good. Supply is getting less common since Gen3 came out.

Good point. I have noticed a distinct drop in idiots trying to sell their takeoffs for $800 on Offerup

It’s the tire and leaf springs moving. Didn’t feel anything in the cab. Tire psi was about 20

A couple photos of the DAKAR. THE 200 Toyota came in second overall. The shot of the one going over the edge was not a Toyota, but shows some of the road conditions.

Putting some feelers out. It is looking like the fam is headed to Boise at the end of March. I’m trying to align a trip to CBI and also hopefully picking up a smoker…which means I’ll need to rent a Uhaul trailer.

Wondering if anyone wants free transport of CBI parts back to the Seattle area?

Let me know if you might be interested. Still trying to get the stars to align so not guaranteed yet…

So, in case someone up here has any interest in a 'Tundra appropriate' sized travel trailer, it looks like my in-laws have decided to sell theirs off. They said they are planning on listing it and parking it on a lot for sale in about a month, but I thought I'd see if anyone here had any interest first... They are the original owners, and it has very gentle use. I believe they want $18k for it... They are located on the Central Oregon Coast.

It's a 2018 Jayco Jayflight SLX Baja 212QBW (dual axle w/front queen bed walk around design); front diamond plate, bath has tub/shower, power awning, exterior shower, off-road tires, etc... Here's the MFR rendition of the floor plan for reference and a quick link to Jayco's website for more specs...

    https://www.jayco.com/rvs/travel-trailers/2018-jay-flight-slx-west/212qbw/

If anyone up in this area has an interest, PM me, and I'll get you more details. Once I have some good pics, etc... I'll post in the marketplace!

Noice...thanks for the info. I just wanted to be sure it wasn't a goofy tour of old pictures and small artifacts. That looks pretty awesome!

Well they did change the High School Mascot during this time so you need to go just for that. Apologize if this is not politically correct.

Whelp, gotta retract this offer. Wife shot down the smoker purchase and CBI just told me they don’t have time for the install. I won’t be making the 4 hour drive to Idaho Falls after all.

It worked out in the end. CBI has their Tundra gear on sale (10% off) right now. Tried to buy their sliders earlier today but their janky website frustrated me so I gave up. Then they sent me a “save 5% code” to finish my order. Stacked the 5% on top of the sale, so bough ‘em this evening.

Tried to buy some swag too but it’s all out of stock. Their loss…

Yeah - thanks for the text earlier. If I hadn't just dropped funds on some other toys and wasn't in the middle of a few other boondoggles, I'd spring for those sliders too.

Sometimes I buy stuff and then forget why I wanted it...

Complete Olicamp stove kit. I think I got this Christmas 4-5 years ago, ran it once to test out and then never used again. Doing a major purge of my garage and I don't need to keep it. Canister is about 1/2 full.

Free to an active member here in the PNW. I'll be in Vancouver/Portland next weekend and doing some shopping Saturday morning (2/11) and can arrange a meet-up. PM me...

Need some advice from the locals in Washington.

In the event we decide to travel up to the Seattle area and ending up in San Jaun Islands for a little whale watching. The difficult part is knowing a good place to stay that I don't have to deal with some of the "social trash" that has plagued our great cities streets. We don't mind driving every day and could totally do a cabin (or something like that) outside city limits.

Looks like the best times to see Orcas is May to September. I would like to kayak out, but the wife isn't so "trusting" in the waters as I am with the kids.

So is early or later summer best? Good places to stay outside Seattle?
