Yep, I resemble that remark! You have seen my driveway and parking area. It’s all 3/4”- rock. I could barely keep my footing just walking gingerly across that! Supposed to be some rain with temperatures in the 40’s, so it’ll probably be gone pretty quick.

Cheers and Merry Christmas Eve all! Day drinking since our flight back to the PNW was cancelled yesterday. Can’t fly out until Monday. Hoping you all thaw out up there by then.

Did you get the freezing rain too? The Seattle guys were nice enough to share. It’s 22* and raining here.

Yeah, that wasn't helping either. 15° and we've had it all today, rain, snow, freezing rain and graupel.

Thaw was on this morning at our place. It was icy getting out around noon, but coming home at 6 was fine.

Your MIL herself, or her car?
Because I had to pull a roommate out of a snowbank once in college but it wasn’t his car…

Hope everyone is enjoying your day and spending wonderful time with family! Happy Christmas and stay safe!
The thaw here is feeling almost tropical. Temperature now is 50f. Feeling balmy. I’m so glad to not be in the southwest where it’s either miserably hot or the roads are clogged with yankee golfers and silly snowbirds!

shoot - I might take you up on that offer - wondering if it's cheaper to get paint matched end caps or just paint the bumper...

    thoughts?

I figured you all on the West side were done with the wind since it is a mild breeze up to 50 mph here on the east side. Snow is about gone though with the wind today.

 I have family on the east side and get wind storms all the time - power never goes out - here someone farts with too much gusto and 5k people are without power :frusty:

I really need to move to the other side...maybe even make it as far as Idaho :pccoffee:

Power has been out since about 2pm. Might be a while, we’ll see. I ran the generator for a while, then just lit some lamps. Propane fireplace and stove burners work fine with the power out. Cellular service was out also for a few hours but it’s back up now.
