Do we just post a bid or how does it work for the auction?

 

How are those snow tires working?

 

Amazing, got all the way to my driveway in 2wd this morning with all that snow and 1700' elevation gain from work.

 

He should add that to the post... @BrunoTheRescuePup IE>> do you bid via PM (silent auction), or do guys just post on the thread what they are willing to pay???

I think the latter would drive the price up higher/faster

Hey y’all, need to make sure we recognize Les Schwab Sherwood here. They had some challenges out of the gate but totally stepped it up. 10/10 they ultimately came through.

 

Anyone have an alignment shop recommendation in the Beaverton/westside area? I need to replace the Sienna's steering rack and I'll need an alignment afterward. Is Les Schwab ok for that (I have several nearby)?

 

Heading to Vegas to see the fam and do Mojave road. First leg to Reno today and 70% of the drive was dumping. The Baja bosses did awesome.

I've given you both credit for donating to the cause...I think technically the funds came from Zach's wife but I'm giving credit for the actual $$ donation to Bruno (I don't know your actual name man).

Was about three hours.
With my wife's family, that's like running an ultra marathon - they go hard...in a very inappropriate way.

I can't share the pictures I took of the birthday cake table OR the video of the skit that was done. It was my wife's cousin's 50th birthday. A purple dildo made a prominent appearance in both.

I have a shop in Tigard that I totally trust. He said last year… wait for it… Les Schwab Sherwood is the only one he would take his vehicles to.

 

That's great that the Sherwood LS has such a solid reputation, more shops need to strive for that!

 

Same shop he just had the issues (ultimately resolved) with those wheels you’re buying…

 

I get that, but they owned up to it and made it right. That's rare now, unfortunately.
The LS near me f'd up my brand new Ram 1500 wheels and put me off and danced around the issue until I wrote them off for good.

Hopefully they address the tire mounting machine that scratched up the wheels.

 

From watching these machines I think it’s user skill that determines if there is damage, implying LS seems to not have the long term talent it once did. I stopped going when they refused to mount tires without tpms sensors on a 2008 (they wanted 300$+ to add them to my winter rims after I had used those at LS for years) and would take 3-4 hours to do anything on most days. The other big issue I had with them was their prices and inventory were hidden so you didn’t really know what product you were buying or how much until you were standing there in the store (which then you’re more likely to just go with whatever they have).

That's some BS about the tpms, it's sad to think how much money they probably squeeze out of naive customers.

 

They’re probably just trying to level the truck…accommodating the famous “tundra lean”.

 

All reputable tire shops are like this since it’s a ‘Federal law’ that TPMS is required if the vehicle has that safety feature installed. I’ve just had the wheels/tires mounted and brought them home to put on myself and they don’t make me do the sensors. TPMS is a stupid worthless doesn’t work right 90% of the time system anyways

 

Yup that’s why I got rid of mine. I check my tire pressure once a week and before and trip anyways.
