Oh man...Serious question...wouldn't it be cheaper to just start over? I honesty don't know.

I'm sure you could get a premium for your truck up here.

Maggy is 1.9 ltr roots style blower. The whipple is 2.9 ltr twin screw. Much more efficient at making boost etc. Gale banks has awesome videos showing the differences

I think I can sell most of the items pretty quick. Be hard to sell a $100k truck of this style up here I think. Really only changing the front suspension and blower. The other updates like roll cage, frame plating/reinforcement, under bed storage, etc would happen either way.

For sure his build would’ve been better if we did this setup right off the bat but live and learn. He wasn’t happy that I have more travel and here we are in an arms race lol. We’re also the kinds of people that if something is better and more efficient etc it’s inevitable to do it. I said f it were going to end up at that lsk route one day knowing how we drive lol

I guess that makes sense.Doesn’t sound that bad once you get back some funds from this stuff.

I’ll have to go talk to him maybe tomorrow. He has been busy making room for his enclosed trailer so he can get it off the street. He had a bobcat last week.

I just wish there was more power potential for these trucks. Maybe there is and I just don’t know about it yet. To be fair I haven’t been in a supercharged one yet.

Like get with the program Kenne Bell.

    Or

Maybe a sweet TT setup from On3.

They run pretty hard with the supercharger. It’ll make more boost if you also build the motor. Single turbo kit is in production now.

Yeah - park of me would love to SC my truck.
The other part knows that that is a lot of money for something that likely won’t help with the longevity I hope/expect to get out of this thing and doesn’t really add anything practical to the equation.

but that doesn’t stop that first part from arguing very loud. If I had the fuck off money I’d have a hard time not doing it

I think longevity shouldn't be a concern. A properly tuned forced induction engine actually burns better than an NA motor. Also, Snvilous has well over 200k on his supercharged tundra and he beats the hell out of that thing lol. Only longevity issue is keeping your foot out of boost and needing gas aha

    You're not helping me here...

At the end of the day, it's the price tag that keeps me from doing it. I simply can't justify the price of a SC in the scheme of what my money gets spent on.

There’s several available and I believe that they all do the job. I have coach builder 2” shackles combined with custom Alcan leaf springs. When I did the shackles, only Coachbuilder was making them.

Coming from a boosted truck, it sucks going back to N/a. Especially when towing in the mountains. I likely would have bought the Toyota s/c if it was still a dealership option when I got my truck. But adding it aftermarket is a different color of money for sure. And yes, the longevity is always a question too

Update time. Got the wheels back on. Seems Wheelkraft machined the face of the wheels to get rid of the damage, but chipped out the edges of the black enamel. Every trailing edge on every wheel.

LS calling WK on Monday. I am keeping calm but this is getting absurd.

Edit: 3 straight visits they can’t seem to get the same amount of air pressure in each tire, so I have to adjust. Went to do that and realized they did not give me back my fancy N2 stem caps.
