Yeah, I bet. We have rented mall cops at work. Pretty sure they are the people that didn’t get a call-back from Mc D’s.

Not how the relay holder was designed to be installed but I refuse to add holes for a temp solution. These will go away anyway once the switch pro goes in.

I've done all the schedules with working construction in the field + home office - 9-80s, 4-10s, 5-10s, 6-10s etc. Probably my favorite was actually 4-10s - as you said it was a "net gain" of zero but it was nice to have 3 days of "not worrying" (this was on a nuke decom project). 9-80s was the home office gig in h-town - everyone in the energy corridor was doing it. Probably my second favorite. When I got this new job and working "actual" 8 hr days I felt like I was cheating - so used to working 5-"10s" and 6-"10s" in the field - felt like vacation. That was short lived though ever since rona it's been back to the old field grind - just sucks cause at least in the field I got paid for 50-60 hrs of the work. But hell - I have a good job and I don't have to move the fam every 18 mos. and I'm more than good with that.

now back to the work & lurk :pccoffee:

Dude that’s freaking lame. I’ll give your money back if you want. I never got to install it as I returned my DD light bar as soon as it came in for their fogs. Then never needed it. The wife’s 4Runner had the holes from the factory.

7 hour mechanical delay out of MO into DEN only to land 10 min after the gate closed for last flight out. Boss got comp’d at Gaylord so I am along for ride. I hit these 1x per year for conventions. It is like a Bass Pro Flagship store had a baby with a Vegas hotel.

Build update- RRW wheels final invoice just came in. So those should be here soon. Deposit sent for the full LT kit install June 13th. Trying to squeeze in front ADV fiberglass fenders in before the appointment but we'll see. Old lady isn't going to be happy when 5 boxes of wheels show up or even the 37s when those get ordered haha Anyone got a spare room just incase lol

I've got a feeling the wheels will show up while I'm out of town. Then she'll need to haul them inside. lol

I work 12s- 3 on 4 off, following week 4 on 3 off. The work week can almost feel like a time warp at times. The 4 day work weeks can suck but I’m all about having 6 months off a year BEFORE I take time off. I’d work 3 14s if they let me. Get it over with! I also enjoy taking 3 or 4 work days off and ultimately getting 10 or 11 days of total time off.

Today , I got to spend some time with @Green Thunder
He is actually a pretty cool guy, contrary to some reports, lol. Maybe he was on good behavior since he had his adult supervision with him. Clam cakes, lima beans (from last summer’s garden) and a salad. Those custom chocolates from his cousin are awesome!
At least now he knows what a Pro really looks like!

When I was running jobs out of town I set up the 4-10’s where it would alternate m, tu, we, thur one week and then the next week we would work tu, we, thur, and fri. This way everyone got 2 4day weekends a month. I would usually stay at the town where the work was for the 2 day weekends and my wife would visit me (if she could)
Payroll department hated it, but it helped keep everyone happy

Not yet. Still driving a company vehicle. I am thinking about a Y or 3 as my commuter vehicle. Also, after seeing the Cybertruck in person I am interested to see the final specs on payload and range to see if it is a possibility as well.

If you need space to put those on I can accommodate. Also pay up on that round I owe you.

Ok real reason for this comment is I got an idea.

What if…… you wrapped the truck instead of painting it and instead put that saved money into 1/2 or more of a supercharger fund.

    Just saying.

@Green Thunder looks like I’ll finally be able to check out your cousins store this summer. My daughter is playing in a tournament in Seattle this August.
