Pops working on the Alcon Kit. So far so good trimming needed to the dust cover but that's it. He should have the front done today then the rears this weekend.

Heat dissipation and I think more in this case to assist in direction mounting since the discs have much more directional internal vains for venting.

Done. My recovery boards don’t fit their design, so I will just mount up with some straps.

@Juanjoolio007 Here’s how the lower bracket mounts up. No clue how your carpet insert works, but in theory you could just cut some slits for the L brackets to poke thru

Yeah, Victory 4x4. I was looking at the Rago, but it is out of stock and almost twice as much! PhukWah?!?!?

I’ve worked enough OT this week to take tomorrow off…but gonna cash those hours in!

I think your right. I could probably just feel out the bed bolts then slice a U around it to access them, put it together, then lay the liner back down.

I used Victory for both our sliders, and my neighbor has their front and rear bumpers. Might have to check out that price vs Rago. We have used Rago for all of our BD lights, and brackets.

Our just mount the feet then throw the bedrug in and slice the carpet where you feel the vertical tabs?

    No. No. No. yeaNo…

The Rago gear I have is solid. Like, survive a nuclear blast solid. I was kinda worried the Victory would be weak sauce, but it is great. The metal isn’t too thin and the hardware is very good. I’m extremely happy. Also, the Rago bed bracket requires you to remove the bed bolt completely. That freaks me out. Whereas the Victory bracket has the channel to slide under the bolt. 100% recommend the Victory.

On a different note, I’ve decided to mount the DB brackets on the front lid. My large cooler can fit under the lid easy, but it will hit the gear mounted to the bracket. Think I know how to deal with that, but moving it as far forward is the best solution.

Nice. Glad you got that figured out before trying to lift a full cooler up there only to find out it wouldn’t fit.

I carry my Yeti Haul frequently in the summer for games/tournaments. That’s why my other gear rides by the cab wall. I probably would have said some not so nice things then threw out my back if I had to load that cooler twice in a matter of minutes.

I took a phuk off day this morning (after working till 8:30 last night) and did a 7.5 mile hike with my wife in the gorge.

came home and had to put in 6 hours of work, but at least did it at the house while sipping a beer (or four).

Nice that you got some time off with the wife. With my purchases lately, I’m taking the cash over comp time.

It is amazing how a long week is less about the hours put in and more about the environment. At least, it is for me. The time is easy when you have a good team and support. When you know the effort will be worth it and rewarded. And when it isn’t…i guess you drink tequila.

I drank about half that glass as I read my book last night. Then just curled up on the couch and fell asleep. And now I’m wide awake!
