Looks like fun! Vehicle requirements are not too bad, equal to TRD Pro or higher. All those pictures are definitely in the “or higher” category.

Yea exactly, couple rigs are on stock or mid travels. The last run had a bunch of stock rigs but where's the fun in that lol

Not sure I'd want to roll South of the border right now. I'm sure it is fine, but my spidy-sense would be going nuts with that much invested in all those rigs.

Still...I'd love to get into that kind of stuff when I'm retired. Not the high speed, but definitely week-long off-grid overlanding trips. It is fun to dream!

Speaking of dreams, I think all my mods just got shelved for another year. We have a family reunion back East this summer and I finally took the time to budget out the trip. Was hoping to take an extra week and explore ME, but that's not going to happen. The cost quickly blew into the 5-figure range before incidentals. o_O Nucking Futs. Going to cut that trip down to 7 days and it will still cost more than my entire mod-list. Fragging the two-week camping trip to UT/ID/MT as well...just going to do long weekends within WA. Grrr... Next year!

ill have to eat crow. my wife will kill me if i buy another set of kings within 4 months of a new set of for my fj.. what you replacing it with??

backorder on kings is anywhere from 30-40 weeks at the moment last i checked with a vendor.

the set up you have new would be in the neighborhood of 4500+/- with depending on vendor and tax. buyers may need to account for rebuild cost.

now.. if you decide to sell the coilovers and rear shocks for cheap like 2k, can i have dibs on it?;)

HAHA. Trust me I hear that. Im trying to figure out the LT kit and most likely moving to Fox Factory setup with adjusters. Accutune might have some in stock but I haven't confirmed.

Was up early this morning on a coffee run. The fog visibility was almost nothing. The Diode Dynamics helped just need some adjusting and alignment.

At the dealership for my second service (11 months of ownership, just under 8k miles).

No 2022s on the lot. Was hoping to see one up close. Several used Tundras. Checking those out for tires sizes and which ones have a lift versus stock suspension to give me a better idea of future tire size.

So those work great from that location? I’ve never had ditch lights and wondered if there would be a bad reflection off the hood.

It also depends on the lens option as well. I'm running the spot lens so its more targeted down range with a tighter beam pattern. I would think you'd get a little bit on the hood if you used a flood/driving combo. But there's a lot of adjustment available. For my needs it works very well.

I won't speak for @reywcms experience, but we recommend something like a driving pattern for the A-pillar location if you're aiming them down the road and not off to the sides. Will help limit hood glare, and make use of the angle of approach since they're mounted up higher!

Service done. Stopped by the hardware store on the way home which is next door to one of the local truck outfitters. This is parked out front. Not a Toyota but an absolute beast of a truck.

Yep. Those are not fender flares. They are zombie anti-splash guards.
