Just north of Langley. My in-laws built a retirement home here. Arrived about 30 minutes ago.

I’ve got to say it’s very strange driving this car with no tachometer or engine temp gauge. Either way so far so good. Will be taking her over the pass to Seattle in the beginning of February so we will see how it does

    Congrats on the new CRV!
I built a Civic and an Accord on the website the other day. Its crazy how much you get for the price for sure. I used to work at Honda back in the late 90's-early 2000's. One of my co-workers is a gold Honda/Acura tech. I wouldn't think twice about buying a Honda.

I was just on Lillard's Toyota website looking around. They have a few Crewmax SR5's coming in. Just over 50k. No thanks. And only going to go up maybe 5mpg.

Well on my way to the dealer to get the oil changed.

    Exactly!! This is so insane.

While I was in San Diego a few years ago my buddy test drove a new raptor. The year they switched to the 6.2l. That one had a 10k markup and he laughed right off the lot and we walked across the street and he bought a new Tundra. Now they want 10k on a Tundra. By Felisha.

Everything I read/see about the new Tundra leaves me more happy about my truck. Crazy for me to say that, but it is true.

Thanks. Ya I was very surprised doing research this past few weeks and things like all LED lights, heated front seats, remote start, the whole safety suite with adapative cruise, lane keep assist, push button start, etc are all standard. And at basically the same price as I paid for my 2014 tundra Sr5 with 68k miles. Hopefully in 5-6 years when my kid starts driving I can hand her off the Camry I’m driving now and get a new pickup then

Right! I like my truck, just tired of spending $400-500 a month on gas. I apparently went 5k miles in three months.

Yeah, that kind of mileage changes things. I just noticed yesterday I’ve driven barely 2,400 miles since I changed the oil in August.

This time of year is when I get the miles piled on. Hunting and fishing gets me close to 5k miles in fall and winter. The rest of the year about 3k.

Same with me. I only average about 9k a year but I am almost up to 4k already and I picked up the truck on August 30th.

Hunting and summer camping trips is where I rack up my miles, along with commuting. Usually average 10-12k a year.
Hoping to cut the miles down to 6k/ year when I get my hands on the Sequoia.

Helps when daily commuting is less than 4 miles a day  and that's going to work, home for lunch, back to work, and going home again.

I thought my commute was short! 3 miles one way but with work from home hybrid it is not unusual for me to only make the trip 2-3 days a week. I’ll turn 7,250 miles on the way back home Sunday. Probably won’t break 9,000 miles in the first year of ownership.

Pre-covid I was 15-17k per year. Now I’ll be lucky to break 10k.

Speaking of miles, I need some road therapy. Just built a 9 hour 530 mile plan…tomorrow will be heaven

If you've never been, extend the trip slightly and check out Palouse Falls. Worth a tripScreenshot_20211217-120845_Chrome~2.jpg

It’s past noon and a long weekend so I have started drinking. What you all up to for the weekend?

Been a number of years since we moved but remember that well. We rented a small storage unit and put extra stuff in to make the place look bigger. Should have taken stuff directly to Goodwill or the dump as I think that is where most ended up after the move.

I am sure there will be a dump run prior to the photos. Lots to do, but shouldn't take much time. Lots of little things.

That must be really nice! Luckily I mostly work from home, but my commute to my office is 41 miles one way - and I cover the whole state of Oregon, so there's times where I have to go all the way down to Klamath Falls o_O
