I think and outback or forester would be a great choice. Especially if you wanted to make it a little more off road worthy as they have good aftermarket support. We checked out a 2022 CRV hybrid EX-L today and a 2022 pilot EX-L. Going to test drive the crv tomorrow. Man I wish I could get a WRX/STI, I really miss my 07 Hawkeye.

 

Idaho is looking better and better.

Saw a Piabald deer on Whidbey Island Tuesday. That hide would look awesome thrown over a couch.

 

That's cool! I've seen one like that before but it was all white. Not albino though as it had dark eyes and a dark nose.

 

WOW! I've never seen that kind of deer. Is it a species only located in the PNW?

 

It's a recessive gene. Same species as all the deer around here(blacktail or whitetail), just the gene makes the color different.

Piebald is some white with natural colors.
Leucism is all white, but not albino, has dark eyes and dark nose pigments.
Albino is all white with pink/red eyes and a pink nose.

I saw a piebald up swakane canyon in Wenatchee 2 years ago. They are pretty cool looking.

 

Yeah, they're so cool. I've been lucky enough to see a few in the wild.

 

I'm definitely going to start keeping my eye out, now that I know about them. I wonder if we have them down here in my neck of the woods.....

My wife and daughter claimed to have seen an all white deer near our house a few weeks ago. But they didn’t stop and get a picture…

 

Nice! So it's possible we could have either Piabald or Leucism/Albino down here.

 

I must've been having a blonde moment when I was wondering if we could have them down here

@jewsNbrews specifically said they are the same as all the other deer, just a difference in pigmentation......I must be a little today
