People pay it, I've held out though.

Still have my 20yo Coleman extreme 50 and a 15yo Coleman marine 150 for fish & game.

I'm waiting for a lighter weight Yeti type of cooler. Nothing worse than a heavy empty cooler, imo.

My Coleman Extreme is working well enough for weekend camping. Bags of ice are cheap compared to $400 coolers ;).

Mrs. Thunder asked about the second cooler during our trip today. She’d rather get a 40 and 60 than mess with a heavy 100-120. Footprint wise that might work since my Cabela’s 80 is frikn huge. Gotta do the math and then find the scratch. Not sure this is a priority and that says something coming from me!

Here’s a summary of the problem before we topped it off with ice and a few bags of saladF0A6227C-4A2A-4AFC-9BD6-CED0CAB5E33E.jpg

Any regular cooler marked “extreme” or “5 days” works for me, even on 5 day river trips down the Deschutes in summer heat. I make sure stuff is cold going in. And instead of bag ice, I use water frozen in empty 2L plastic juice containers, to avoid a slushy mess.

Have any of you mounted a front camera on an old TRD grill? If so where.

    Rain…

There is a house near me that has a “Happy Fathers Day” chalk drawing in the driveway. It looks nearly as good now as it did a month ago. So no rain for at least a month.

No rain in the forecast. Apple app now says 10% chance.

Washed the truck yesterday. Also had to do some mildew cleaning on the trailer awning. All I needed was one more day to let it fully dry before I rolled the awning back up…

Isn’t that how it works? You wash your truck and inevitably it rains the next day.

Just finished the his and hers driveway vehicle clean. Leather conditioning, vacuum, wipe down the interior, and washed the exterior. You rain better not head this way @Green Thunder!

Also took the spare off and had the new tire moved over to an extra TRD OR alloy I picked up last week. Got rid of the steel wheel.

The state DNR website lacks any real details on what specific land they control. I assume they have no authority over BLM? Dunno.

Haha. My son washed his car so that should keep the rains up here.

Not positive, bit BLM is the same as DNR for our state. Other states call it BLM. Seems ours calls it DNR. But correct me if I am wrong.

I poked around the DNR website last night and I think I found a map of the specific regions they manage. Unfortunately the map wasn’t working on my phone, so I gave up.

It looks like they manage a bunch of campsites, but the website also talked about gates/forest access. Sure hope more details are available soon.
