Wow. I walked out to get the mail today when it was 113 and my eyeballs felt like they were cooking.

Too many posts to quote.. sucks about the ban’s. I think I remember a Panda here…used to always tag everyone and say hi.
    Work was all like :annoyed:.

On the way home I was almost side swiped into the center divider by a dumb ass in an F150 on his phone…Bluetooth probably didn’t work. Stupid part was the guy was only on 205 from like 213 to Lake O exit after the bridge.

    Then I noticed. 43E49301-A489-486E-9BA6-1BE2DA4F8E34.jpg
Got home and did this weeks Street Parking Power workout in the garage with the door and window closed. That was fun. Tried to add in a daily workout I missed last week but I’m way to out of shape for that.
Now have the rest of the night to chill(hopefully) before back to work tomorrow.

Hope you guys are staying cool.

Anybody notice cell and WiFi service was almost nonexistent today? Had no service on my phone. Had to call my daughter from my work cell. Weird.

Damn. Weather app says 112 here, but truck said 118. Either way it's too damn hot out.
Must be the heat. I haven't noticed anything, but I'm on wifi most of the day at work and at home.

One of the guys at work said it was At&t with the service issues which makes sense as my personal cell is AT&T. My work Verizon cell worked ok though. I was in Gresham and the wife was in Newberg and she only had 1 bar of service too.

Agreed this heat can go. Im done with flashbacks to Yuma,AZ weather.

CE5D8D2F-31E5-4504-828B-A21008A4CE57.jpg Down to 109 from 113 earlier so I ran down to the store.

Wife took the truck to Bend Friday-Sunday with stops on Santiam Pass for road construction… said Sunday was 20 min idling at 106 degrees by Gates. Anyway, very happy with the computer 19mpg.

In the shade on the patio at about 5:30pm. Yes, it’s a meat thermometer.

You know it's hot out when you walk into your house and 80 degrees feels like a nice dip in a cool pool. Forecast is only showing one sub 90 day in the next week or so. No bueno.

Ouch... Hillsboro is finally supposed to cool down to mid 60s tonight. 96 tomorrow is still too hot to do anything in my book. What's surprised me is how much wind there has been during this heat wave. Feels like a convection oven out there.

News just showed temps are dropping in McMinnville. Hoping for those winds and temps to keep moving towards Hillsboro!

Nevermind, low of 81 tonight, so it won't even get below 80. Currently 106 @9pm.

I live out in the Clackamas area of Oregon and on Sunday I made the biggest mistake of letting my Mom come over and cook with the stove. To top it off she made a soup that boiled for about 1.5 hours. It was too much for my AC to keep up with apparently and my 1 year old who is cold blooded like me was just miserable. Anyways im thanful we all made it through and am looking forward to slightly coolers temps.

Out here in Sherwood we have dropped almost 40 degrees in about 5 hours. We have a whole house fan that is awesome all but (normally) a week or so per year. So glad to fire it back up to cool the house down.

My A/C was still trying to catch up when I went to bed last night at 11:30.

Currently 70 outside, headed to 91 this afternoon. I might actually get to my outside chores this evening.

It was Redding for me, I did see 120+ a few times. I want to say the last summer I was there it had a higher average temp than Death Valley, if not it was close.
