The girls don't think they have any performances so, either day but 5/6 is better if it means better attendance.

We have no idea if Poker is even open yet. o_OBut let’s start preparing. I think I can go either day so let’s just say Sunday 5/6 if that’s better for Manuel. Hopefully we can get trail conditions in the next week.

A group of trucks attempted it last weekend and had to turn around after 9 miles. They were using recovery boards and winches to try to get through the snow.
With our trip being separated by 2 weeks of warm weather, I think we will be dealing with less snow and more mud. Worst case scenario, we get some recovery practice, turn around, and try again in June.

For reference, "The Book" says that 8.7 miles is the Saddleback Mtn. lookout. It is another 6 miles to Poker Flat.

Shit. I’m more scared of mud than snow. Lol. We really need to make a wise decision before going down into the valley.

I had no idea that there was a storm coming. These two forecasts show rain, but that is probably snow at the higher elevations. I'm still up for trying it if you guys want. Or we can try something else instead.

Interesting. I’d still be up for trying it unless we can get any other info between now and then that it gets worse up there. Haven’t ever done this route

So the amber lenses keep falling off the Cali Raised dust lights that Matt was kind enough to give me. I went to the local plastic store yesterday and picked up a scrap piece of amber for $1. I pulled the clear lenses out (one of the lights had moisture inside) and replaced 'em with amber, used some silicone and it all came out great, no more lenses falling off.:bananadance:

MCM use FK, I forgot the diameter, but I am sure if its 1" you should be good to go.
I wonder if you can just press yours out and press into new uca.

Suzanne just saw the cooler I bought and was stoked. She won't buy something like a $200 cooler but gets happy when I do. Then, we sat around for a minute looking at RTTs and trailers.

Hey, great idea! I don't think it'll work though. If it were that simple Icon would've been marketing the DJ as a UB replacement long ago.
