Fell asleep early last night. Was exhausted from a few hours of wheeling. Not sure how I’m going to get through 4 days of it.

Good morning dcsleeper, sorry been off a few days and trying to catch up. heres what I did yesterday. I swapped sides to see if my suspicion was correct, that is having one shock not acting the same as the other. And it is clearly the shock, NOT the leafs or shackles that I replaced at the same time. I removed both shocks and I am going to send them back to Joey at SDHQ. I am no suspension "guru", but I can say for sure, the shocks are not working the same. We will see what happens.
I am going to truck fest at S.M. county expo center next weekend and speak to the Fox guys to see what they have to say. Think I might just park my truck there with a "for sale" sign all weekend...

Snow? Is that the white stuff? Seems like a nice black truck might be easier to see.:boink:

Incorrect my friend. When a black truck lives in snowlandia it will typically have a magnesium chloride coating that will not be eliminated until spring when it’s warm enough to remove. Prime reason I didn’t buy a black Tundra on this round. My 2012 was a total bitch to clean. I could get the ice off but never took the time to really get a purist wash on her because I’d just wreck the beauty two days later :D

Here’s a black one I took a pic of yesterday

Truth is, black was not the best color choice for me,,, (Never been known as a superior intellect) Black shows the pinstripes way too much. I got black 'cause I have sooo many redwood trees and they drop little seeds. Redwood trees excel at gathering moisture which drops and causes the little red seeds to bleed all over. So, white paint ends up looking like crap.

SDHQ should get it where they need to be.
    Good luck at truck fest.
Half those guys just try to sell stuff and never have the info I need. Sometimes I feel like they think I’m trying to push buttons so they turn into dickbags.
Make sure you get a bunch of stickers though!!

Good morning, fellas! Looks like Hollister was fun, and Joon's suspension looks BA! Can you list in one post, what each of you is currently running, suspension-wise, for those of us trying to keep up at home? Pretty please....

P.S. Thanks for these comparison pics! This is the first time I made the connection about what the benefits of enhanced suspension are. Until now, I understood that bigger tires raise the bottom-most surfaces of the truck, and suspension allows for bigger tires. But not until I saw these did I "get" that suspension can create enough flex to keep tires on the ground (where they can do what they do to move the truck).

Yeah... not very smart sometimes. :tinfoilhat:

But the good news about these "aha!" moments is how fun it is when I finally do understand! :woot:

Joon's running Icon 3.0 with RXT leaf pack. I'm running ADS up front, Fox 2.5 rears that are only good for 0-1" of lift and an Icon expansion pack. My rear is lifted about 2". New ADS bypass rears are on their way and will increase my droop travel significantly! The Fox have a stroke of +/- 9" The ADS stroke is ~ 10.75"
